Wade Phillips - A defensive coordinator not a head coach

Tony Romo - Not a big game QB until he proves differently, too many turnovers to win the biggest games, you have to protect the ball

Dallas Cowboys - A good team not a great team

Dallas Cowboys defense - Played great today, you cannot fault them

Roy Williams - I don't think you can blame Roy, there was only one pass that I saw today that I thought he should have come up with that he didn't

T.O. - Plain and simple a prime time player. How they continue to not get the ball in his hands more is a mystery to me.

Tashard Choice - That kid is a GREAT #3 running back

Pacman Jones - Did a good job in coverage, and in my humble opinion, our blocking in the return game is horrific.

This was a sad and disappointing outcome. Making the playoffs now just got a lot harder.

Agree with most of your points, except Romo. I'll continue to defend Romo. You all let me know if you're ready to go back to Testaverde, Bledsoe, Stoerner, Carter, Bollinger, Johnson, Stanton, Leaf, etc.

Bingo! 90% of the time, Pitt's DBs were playing 10 yards off of him-why Garrett didn't try to exploit it I have absolutely no idea why.

Because now we're starting to see that Garrett benefited from a weak schedule last year coupled with Tony Romo playing like he was having a good time just enjoying football. This season we started with the Tom Brady clone, plus Jason Garrett trying to get too cute with the playcalling (outcoaching himself) and now our backs are against the wall and it's never easy to come from behind.

That and the ridiculous injury bug.

Tony screws up and that makes Wade not a head coach.

People have their biases. And they look for anything to pile on. You don't like Tony. Never have. Get over it. He's a great QB.

I have made clear on this forum a thousand times over that my original opinion on Tony was wrong. I LIKE Tony Romo. We have a GOOD QB. Danny White was a GOOD QB. I WANT Tony to be a GREAT QB. Do you hear that Theogt? I DESIRE him to be a great QB. I will be the first one jumping up and down with joy when he is.

Right now, he simply is not, and the reason he is not is because he is a turnover machine in big games. If you can't see that he doesn't protect the ball as well as he should, then you are the one with the bias my friend.

I don't give a flip about stats. Let the Dan Marino's and Brett Favre's of the world bask in the light of their stats. I want CHAMPIONSHIPS. Championship QB's don't turn the ball over in bushels. Favre got one championship (thanks to a great punt returner who got the MVP for that Super Bowl), and Marino got zero.

Anyway, enough said. I don't think we can find a QB better than Romo for this team right now. He is our QB. As a fan, he is MY QB. But right now he isn't a big game QB until he proves differently. I stand by my point.

The fact that you'd even consider wanting another QB confirms your bias. This guy is the reason we're in the playoff hunt. He's the reason we'll be in the playoffs for many years. He's basically the entire team. Without him, we're not squat.

Maybe because of the wind?

Screw T.O.

Romo tried to force the ball to him a few too many times, as far as I'm concerned.

We should have run the ball and worked the TEs more.

But T.O. gotta have his touches and Romo has to be the man.

Well if you say he is a great QB...guess that settles it. We'll get over it.

Think Larry Brown had an interesting comment on the post game radio show. Romo's career is headed DIRECTLY down Danny White's path. Good numbers, leadership issues, cant win important games, too many turnovers...

You are a blind man who has a favorite player and so he is the whole team TO YOU.

I like Romo a lot. I think he has a bunch of qualities you just can't teach. The play he almost made left handed was unreal. The TD pass to Owens was fantastic because if he doesn't keep that play alive it doesn't happen.

I'm not blind, I see the good, but I also see the bad. Can you? I'll say it again. I WANT him to become what we all want him to become. But right now the turnover thing is a disturbing pattern and if it doesn't stop there is no way in Hades that he is leading this team to a Super Bowl.

I can see the bad. He's good for 1-2 games like this per year. He was off the reservation. But I can look at all the games we win because of him and realize, yes, he's a great QB.

You? You've had it out for him since day 1 and will jump on him any chance you get. Oh well, in the end you're remembered as the fool that didn't want Tony. Enjoy those 1-2 games a year you get to pile on him.

Oh jeeze comparing a QB in 2008 to one from an entirely different era of football...got to love sportscasters. That's like saying "WHO WOULD WIN!? SHAQ OR BILL RUSSELL!?!?" And then watching all of the guys with their necks spilling over their collars huff and puff about why what they say is absolutely fact.

I can't WAIT to hear Tom Jackson on Countdown trash the Cowboys again.

I want Terence Newman to intercept every single pass that he deflects and every other close one, but right now the whole incomplete pass instead of pick-six thing is a disturbing pattern and if it doesn't stop there is no way in the world that he is leading this defense to a Super Bowl

It's like an ad-lib - sub in your player of choice and something about his playmaking and it fits any player on any team in the NFL.

Ummm...that's not what I saw. In the 2nd half of the game, when we tried to run the ball, we didn't have nearly the same success as we did in the 1st half. Plus Garrett got too cute with the run plays as well.

If you think no TO on this team makes them better, then fine-Plaxico is a nutcase as well, but now you're seeing how the Giants are struggling on offense without him.

You know what is sad/good news. Listening to the ch 11 interviews, I am excited that I think our players are starting to get it. I dont hear any excuses. Everyone knows the stakes. Everyone (finally) is saying the right thing.

What is the sad thing? Well, usually, players echo their head coach. I think our players have lost respect for Wade, and are taking it upon themselves (obviously a good thing) and reverting to old college coach speeches, sayings, etc. Hey, when there is a leadership vacancy, it will get filled...hopefully, and i like what I am hearing. Just sad that Ole Uncy Wade (as nice and defensivel smart as he is) has left such a massive one...

All I can do is laugh at this. You will see what you want to see. I hope in the end that I'm the fool if that means our Cowboys win the Super Bowl. I will be the fool every year, gladly, and twice on his best days, if he leads us to a Super Bowl title. I don't think you get OBJECTIVITY. Objectivity has an opinion, but when it becomes clear the opinion is wrong, you abandon it. (I did that) But objectivity doesn't wish for something so badly that you aren't even willing to consider the alternative. That is called DELUSIONAL.

Before we declare Tony GREAT don't you think he should lead us to ONE playoff win? He is a GREAT regular season QB to this point. I want another Roger and another Troy. I'm not talking about STYLES. I'm talking about championships. Can you get that? I don't care if that QB turns out to have come off the pee wee team squad. I don't have a personal agenda here. I HOPE its Tony Romo. That means we FOUND OUR GUY! I'm asking, where is the evidence for this so far? When it comes big game time, at this point, he keeps choking it up.

Yeah, this is what the Tony haters have moved onto. It's the same thing that happened to Peyton Manning for 7-8 years until he won a SB. It's always, "yeah he's really good but he can't win the big games."

Blah. It's just grasping at straws to criticize someone. If you can't tell what kind of QB someone is after all of these starts, you're an idiot.
