They took away the headphone jack

Saw these too, nearly the same price as powerbeats 2. I wonder what the sound quality is like. There are some nice features like wireless charging...

The first hands-on reviews I saw said they sounded similar to the packaged earphones - which are actually pretty good, but nothing crazy.

ty sir, have you tried these?

I own a pair of those (it's actually a pretty common style that a lot of companies rebrand as their own). I use them at the gym nearly every morning and they sound and work fine, especially for the price.

I don't find them particularly stylish though, so I don't wear them on my daily commute.

I have some really cheap wireless ones, similar to the ones others have posted in here. Only think I hate about them is they are only around 5 hours of battery life which is ok if you are doing some routine tasks but suck if you are going to be listening to them all day during a normal work shift.

They are nothing to write home about in terms of quality but they are no worse sounding than the normal ear buds you get with a new apple or android phone.

I used to use them for mowing but got tired of forgetting to fully charge them so now I just use a cheap set of wired ones for mowing.

For me...I just can't bring myself to over pay for a name brand ear buds that the quality is not really so much better to warrant the price especially since I will normally be listening to an mp3 player or phone where the MP3's are not even the same quality as if you were listening to a CD player.

I'm with you about wireless, I don't hate them but they don't meet my needs.. At least yet.

I wouldn't discount buying name brand headphones, I bought these 2 years ago on Black Friday for $80 and I still use them everyday since I got them. By far the best investment I've made for headphones because they are super comfortable (easily can have them on 8+ hours for work or home) and the sound is crisp and clear. I'm no audiophile by any means but I could notice the quality of sound and the build of the headphones and I am happy.

Thanks for the heads up.

I dont care what they look like, I just want something that works and is reliable. I'll give these a shot.

your link is jacked up, can you try to post a working link to whatever headphones you are referring to?

Thx

So this means I need to spend another 1k(accessories, etc) soon to get a new one? I hate the way ATT does upgrades now :(

well, looks like they did come out with their own wireless earbuds but they aint cheap and it looks like Id lose them in no time. I gotta wonder how well they stay in your ears too

I heard that this biggest problems w/ these guys is staying in your ears. They're worse than the current/wired buds. Guess they are 'average' when using them while sitting at your desk & working but even walking challenges their 'fit'.

Very pleased that I ditched the iPhone for the Galaxy. Love my S7 Edge and now love it even more now that it's rooted.

Audio pros are kinda cranky about this. Especially since you cannot listen via the lighting adaptor and charge at the same time. No audio jack is a negative in my book. Sticking with a 6.

The only time my iphone earphones fell out of my ears is whenever the cord accidentally got stuck on something I was walking by, ripping the headphones out.

come to think of it, that probably true in my case as well

I'd definitely be paranoid with $160 earbuds in my ears, gonna try the cheap ones first
