They're Back in 2016 form but better!

I agree bro... There's so much to be excited about in these new & improved Cowboys. I'll name just a few.

  • We now have a formidable top 10 defense that gets stops & turnovers.
  • Our #1 WR is now guy that is fully healthy, playing for a paycheck (I NFL motivated), and just humbly goes about chewing up DBs.
  • Our locker room is healthy with no cancerous existence in it.
  • Our LB corps is A1.
  • Our front 4 gets after the QB and is deep.
  • Our QB has gained valuable experience and is showing signs of coming out of the fog with weekly improvements on display.
  • Our supporting WR cast behind our #1 is stronger.
  • Columbo has our olinre playing smash mouth football again as a single unit.
  • Jerry isn't meddling as much as he used to. (I despise those days when he would go down to the sidelines)
  • Our DBs are playing a new brand of coverage thanks to KR.

This is just an all around better squad than 2016. Period.

I don't know. I see us not making as many mistakes as the other teams these last few games. I still believe that we have to win by making few mistakes because our offense is not built to overcome many mistakes. The Commanders made quite a few bonehead plays and we had calls go our way. Despite all that, they were still in the game up until the last few minutes of the game.

C’mon people. This O-line is nowhere near as good or consistent as the 2016 O-line was. When it plays well we look good; when it doesn’t we look a mess.

Enjoy yesterday’s win. (I certainly am.) But get real.

I honestly believe they looked a bit more dominant in 2016. But winning 3 in a row is nice, it should have been 4 in a row if they didn't drop the ball with the Titans.
Sometimes a loss like that is the wake up call that is needed.

Very true but as the o-line has regressed the defensive line has been the difference maker. Colt McCoy no longer enjoyed the clean pocket and sub-par linebacker play he experienced in 2016....or 2014 in his case

I am enjoying the win ,

but we can't ignore we have a #1 WR that teams have almost no tape (playing for the boys) ...

& Commanders are missing their QB .

Defense is better than 2016. Offense is getting better but not quite there yet. Choking down my crow on Cooper. He has had a huge impact on this offense.

Fair. But in the first half, when we couldn’t pass protect, the game was entirely in doubt against a Washington team that couldn’t do much against our D.

This team continues to ride or die with the O-line. Hopefully we get Tyron back and feeling good for the Saints. Can’t wait for the day the band is reunited and T-Fred comes back. Then we’ll be rolling for real.

Calm down.

That game was in big time jeopardy yesterday with Linehan putting the lid on our offense.

I like the team but our Oline is decimated and Linehan has never been worse.
