Thin air was the downfall

Hurd has made some nice plays throughout his career, but he is not who we should go to with the game on the line. Where was Witten? Where was Bennett? Where was Barber? Is he hurt again? Thanks to Romo, Roy is indeed hurt. And why throw to Crayton short of the end zone with time running out? Hurd helped us get there, but we have better weapons than him for that situation, IMO.

What has Bennett shown during the regular season? He can't get open either. He isn't clutch like some folks want to make him out to be.

Agree on Hurd though. You don't go to him w/ 5 on the clock and needing a TD to tie it.

It's Witten or Barber for sure.

Choice

Best ray of hope this team has. He is absolutely fantastic to watch. He plays w/ heart and he makes plays.

Feed that kid the ball even more.

Denver loses home games like every other team. We should've won today. I'm tired of saying that.

How can you honestly say that? How?

We clearly got outplayed today, and didnt deserve to win a damn thing.

Plus we've played like crap at sea level, so let's knock off the embarrassing "altitude" nonsense.

TO's not doing a damn thing in Buffalo.

The dude is declining -- rapidly. We dont miss him on or off the field.

But we need another WR that is for sure. And I've been against that idea for sometime now.

Yeah, ok...keep telling yourself that his absence didn't affect this team.

Like it or not, he occupied two guys on defense....they constantly rolled coverage his way....now, the can virtually play man against us and send another blitzer....voila...recipe for a struggling offense....not to mention a former QB as the OC and what do you get? An team that is built to run passing at a near 2-1 clip....42 passes and 25 runs....and it wasn't like this was a game where we didn't have the lead....we had it until a couple of minutes were left in the game....Never let the running game even get a chance to develope.

8 Rushes the entire second half....only 3 in the third quarter.

I knew the excuses for Romo would start. But hey Romo has the best record for an undrafted QB, oh Romo has the 2nd best Win Pct on the Road, Hey Romo has one of the best QB rating in NFL history, but Romo couldn't throw in Mile High, Oh please be real, Elway did it, Cutler did it, Orton did it and every other QB has done it dang near...

Every body knows excuses is like what crap comes out of.

Well, Buehler got out kick-offed by Prater, who can kick FGs also......

It has been an absolutely horrible weekend for me. Sometimes it's tough to keep pouring emotion into the games on Sat/Sun. I scare the kid when the games are going bad.

Woo

I need a drink.

Did you watch the game? Our running game was awful in the 2nd half. No room to run anywhere.

Romo is the reason for the loss.... He sucks.

How can you call yourself a Cowboys fan saying that? Romo had a bad day for sure but to come out and just blatantly trash the QB of your team?

Welcome to ignore.

This team sucks. Romo Sucks, the Coaching staff sucks. The owner beyond sucks for letting this piece of crap embarrassment stay together.

Dallas doesn't win jack until Jerry Jones is dead and gone. Book it.

Even if that's technically true, let's not go there.

Really? And you got this from the 3 running plays that were called in the second half?

40+ passing plays by one team is normally indicative of a team that is playing catch up....we were ahead for the first 58+ minutes.

Take about giving up onthe run. "Screw it, we just can't run it against them!" Is that what JG said? No, this is the norm. We ALWAYS pass more than run....always....even when it IS working.

The passing game was pretty awful as well....so what is the excuse? At least if you run the ball the clock keeps going and their offense isn't on the field and their defense begins to get more worn down with us just running it right at them.

How the lines go, this team goes.

The o-line needs to get better on pass-blocking....once they do that, THEN we'll get better.

Romo was way off because of the altitude. IMO His passes were high and off all day. And that is what happens in high altitude because the air is thin...in a mile high city with mountains and

Yep. Quarterbacks have never been able to play well in Mile High.......
Elway?
