This could be the most bizarre finish in the history of football for the Dallas Cowboys. After starting 3-7 the Cowboys could easily get to 7-7 after 14 games and be in position to make a playoff run with three games left in the season. The Cowboys should beat the Giants, Panthers, and Bengals and have a four game winning streak going into the Bucs game and if they win that it will make five in a row and put them at 8-7 with two games remaining in the season so can the Cowboys go on a massive run and finish 10-7 and get into the playoffs? We shall see.

the cowboys should beat the giants, because if there is any organization that's worse run than the cowboys its the Giants. they are a much bigger mess.
I say the panthers is a 50/50 game. they are 2-1 in their last 3 starts and pushed KC to the limit...
I think Cinci is a much better team than their 4-7 record. they are losing a lot of close games, and scoring a lot in the process. and its not like garbage time scores, they are actually leading late or within a score. they just haven't been able to close the deal. their defense has been below average and can't hold opponents.

it wouldn't surprise me for us to go 1-2 the next three games.

  • Saul: I have a question, say we get into the cage, and through the security doors there and down the elevator we can't move, and past the guards with the guns, and into the vault we can't open...
  • Rusty: Without being seen by the cameras.
  • Danny: Oh yeah, sorry, I forgot to mention that.
  • Saul: Yeah well, say we do all that... uh... we're just supposed to walk out of there with $150,000,000 in cash on us, without getting stopped?
  • pause as everyone turns to look at Danny
  • Danny: Yeah.
  • Saul: [nervously] Oh. Okay.
Or in other words, even if we beat all these schmuks, it doesn't mean we will still have a chance to make the playoffs. "Playoffs!" , talking about Playoffs?"

“Making the playoffs” would be great.

It would reinforce what a great job Jerry and son are doing and how “close” this team is. No need for free agency, they are on the right track.

Oh and they would get absolutely smacked in that playoff game. Amazing what a missed extra point can do.

Yeah of course.

In the offseason some had us 12-5.

Everything is possible until reality hits (or Mike Tyson).

Repeat of 1990. They were 3-7. Won 4 in a row to get to 7-7. Needed 1 win to make the playoffs. Aikman got hurt and the lost the last 2 games.
They even had a chance to get in at 7-9. But the Saints beat the Rams and they got in at 8-8.

However I think they may need to win out this time, or have several other teams lose around 4 more games each.

You're a coach...I'm sure you've seen it all. It's always a rush, this time of year. Juices are flowing.
