Gregory suspended indefinitely. Irving retiring. Let's say tank and the Boys cant come to some type of agreement and tank is traded, I mean seriously, where in the hell would we go from here?

I'm a Jerry fan, the guy has a good heart, but it has bitten this team in the ***.

I feel this team is so unlucky at times.

If tank has to go hopefully we pull off a beneficial deal of a life time. "Walkerish"

It’s time to change your s/n to Captain Obvious...

not really truly weve never counted on having either, this is and has been the Norm..

we most likely get Tanks done and hopefully find suitable replacements in draft and FA along with Taco and Armstrong stepping up..theres a deep draft and many FAs out there, its not hard to replace RG and DI production, is it? they are almost always gone..

I don’t really consider Irving a factor in this equation because I doubt anyone really expected him back anyway. But if Tank were traded then obviously D-Line would be the draft priority. It may be anyway, but after a trade we would have more draft clout to get a better player.

Another “giant meteor coming” thread! Yay.

Yeah, Gregory and Irving are gone, and we might lose Tank, but...
Maybe we WON’T lose Tank, Taco and Armstrong each take a step forward, and we acquire talent through the draft and free agency.

Change is constant. Relax, folks.

Not signing D-Law would be bad. But Irving did nothing last year and Gregory didn’t do much till the end of the season. As long as we sign D-Law we will be the same or better on D-Line this year. We will get another pass rusher and likely some help in the middle.

I think losing Tank will hurt in the running game a little but but in the passing game not so much. Some of you guys act like he had 20 sacks.

If Taco and Armstrong play this year they will get a few sacks. I think we will draft at least one DE and one DT at some point in the draft.

Since when is 20 sacks the standard to be considered a high uality pass rusher? He is, without question, a high quality pass rusher, and even when he doesn’t get sacks he often draws double team attention that helps other pass rushers. The big issue is he is the only pass rusher opposing defenses have to plan for. Without him the Cowboys would be near the bottom in sacks.

You guys need to start preparing yourself for the possibility that he's not going to be a Cowboy next year, because that could be a very real scenario.

only if we let it.
no ones fault but our own.
I still think we ink DLaw...if we don't...Id hope we would sign a vet...Vinny Curry or Dante Fowler and draft a DE at some point...I wouldn't force that pick...but at some point...a DE should be there.

I didn’t suggest it wasn’t possible the Cowboys would be without him, I only said he was an important player.
