not really truly weve never counted on having either, this is and has been the Norm..

we most likely get Tanks done and hopefully find suitable replacements in draft and FA along with Taco and Armstrong stepping up..theres a deep draft and many FAs out there, its not hard to replace RG and DI production, is it? they are almost always gone..

I don’t really consider Irving a factor in this equation because I doubt anyone really expected him back anyway. But if Tank were traded then obviously D-Line would be the draft priority. It may be anyway, but after a trade we would have more draft clout to get a better player.

Not signing D-Law would be bad. But Irving did nothing last year and Gregory didn’t do much till the end of the season. As long as we sign D-Law we will be the same or better on D-Line this year. We will get another pass rusher and likely some help in the middle.

He is, without question, a high quality pass rusher, and even when he doesn’t get sacks he often draws double team attention that helps other pass rushers. The big issue is he is the only pass rusher opposing defenses have to plan for. Without him the Cowboys would be near the bottom in sacks.

I still think we ink DLaw...if we don't...Id hope we would sign a vet...Vinny Curry or Dante Fowler and draft a DE at some point...I wouldn't force that pick...but at some point...a DE should be there.
