Things have to loosen up for the running game eventually, right?

For two games in a row, teams have sold out trying to stop the run, figuring Dak can't beat them with his arm. In one game, the coaching staff screwed up an amazing passing performance, and in the other they didn't. In both games, the running game was stuffed but Dak put up some impressive numbers. Wouldn't those impressive passing numbers eventually loosen things up for the running game? It only seems to make sense, because putting seven and eight men in the box is sure making it easier for Dak.

If Dak keeps playing at this level, the run game will open up. Teams were banking on stopping Zeke not thinking Dak had this in him. It's the time when our Coaches figure it out. You can't take 2-3 games to go "ok, let's pass/run more" It needs to transition in the game.

I would like to see the Cowboys run more plays from 11 personnel with Dak under center. Having the ability audible out of a play and change the look to shotgun, even handing off from that change to shotgun, will help keep defenses off balance and make them defend the entire field.

If Dak continues to kill them and our line can open them holes our run should improve. Until than let Dak kill em.
