......from the 2 Jason Garrett threads.

1- Some folks like him

2- Some folks hate him

3- Some folks are wait and see

Is that about it?

Bottom line, this team is much better off than it was the first 8 games in 2010. PERIOD. NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND can deny that.

I like JG....but there are some things he needs to improve on. Notably game management. But I am willing to be patient and give him the benefit of the
of the doubt. He is, after all, still a very young head coach, learning on the job. Some of you nutjobs expect him to be Belichick right off the bat! Need I remind you about Belichick's early years?

Bottom line....no anointing oil, but for crying out loud, put away the stake and the torches! Give the man some time!!!!!

Hahaha a bounty joke.......I like it lol

There are like 30% of the posters (if even) that make up 95% of the unreasonable posts. Now a lot of mostly reasonable posters are slightly optimistic (Hos) or slightly pessimistic (CATCH17) but they don't freak out that the team will never win a SB or is doomed for all eternity or is going to go 16-0 and win 3 SB in a row before training camp.

Plenty of people think Garrett has all the potential, can do better than he did last season, and hope for success but don't expect it immediately, but they get drowned out by these goofballs who aren't real fans, they are just egos who attach themselves to a particular team.

How does Jason Garret like his kickers?

On ice.

Jason Garrett doesn't often ice kickers, but when he does.. he makes sure they're on his team.

In this day and age people expect instant gratification, it's unrealistic.

Garrett is building this team the right way. This team will be significantly better under his control.

You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.

I don't post much but I really enjoyed Hostile's post on JG. Jason Garret is one football smart dude learning on the job. I trust he will learn from his mistakes and make better decisions with game management.

I also LOVE the change in attitude he is bringing to the Cowboys, by drafting the "right kind of guy" philosophy . This attitude reminds me alot of what Tom Landry brought to his teams.

Yes I am old enough to remember the Tom Landry days. That man is what made me a Cowboy fan for life. I am so lucky that I was able to shake Tom's hand two different times in my life.

As a Cowboys fan, I can only hope that JG and everybody else on the team improve from last season and have a great season. I like JG and the professionalism he brings to the table and discipline and accountability he instills on the team.

No one is perfect and I knew that there would be some mistakes made during last season and I can only hope that JG and the staff learn from them and not make same mistakes again.

I am going to believe that JG will lead the team to the playoffs this season.
