I knew the defense was legit.... so much so I drafted them in fantasy....lol. Actually, they are not a great fantasy Ddue to lack of turnovers, but this d line is big time. This is the dline we all have been harping for, for years. We are young, have depth, and can finally get after the qb.
D Irving IS worth the "Trouble." Weve seen what the RKOG gets us..... nothing. And we dont know if he is any "Trouble." Most teams have some guys that have had issues. The great Belichek bringing in Gordon tells you teams are willing to take a shot on talent, and Irvings talent is undeniable.
Twill is not a mental midget. Guy got drunk during the summer, like many of us have and made a mistake. He might not be a difference maker on the field, but he has been class and stable his entire career up until his incident this past summer.
A WR needs to be drafted next year in RD 1 or 2...Id go 2, because Id draft a qb in rd 1. Dez is missed for sure, but his absence is diminished by not having a qb that could take advantage of his skills.
Can we give the coaches a little credit for taking a shot on Rico? There is not much doubt in my mind that Rico could take over next year as THE TE on this team. I definitely want to see him used much more, and when we get down inside the 20, I dont ever want to see him on the sidelines.
The Dak we saw this weekend, MUST be the Dak we see in every game. He was very effective..... but I am not going to give all of this credit to scheme or him running. He seems to have had a different mind set. He was aggressive, he was looking downfield, and he was going to run if nothing was there. He did not pass for many yards, but when you add in 80plus yards rushing to his passing yards, those are numbers we can live with. He can not sustain those rushing numbers though. I do believe he needs 40-50 yards every game for us to win consistently.
JG is a solid coach.... EVERYTHING is magnified in Dallas. Games in the NFL are ridiculously close from week to week, and last weeks genius coach is this weekends jack arse.
Is it not clear to everyone that last weeks game is the recipe to success for us? So if Dak reverts back to the guy that feels heat , throws like crap, doesnt look downfield, and will not run, we will go back to absolutely stinking. So lets see if we can do it 2 weeks in a row.
