- I liked Michael Bennett. He had the penalty but overall was very active both in the run game and the passing game.
- I didn't like that Prescott play call late in the game. I think Moore is still learning and can get a bit too cute at times. It was 3rd and four IMO. You could have slammed Elliott in there and probably gotten enough to consider going for it on 4th. But that's hair splitting, admittedly, as overall I thought Moore did a nice job last night with the play calls.
- I liked that Collins had a splash game. He needs to continue that with the Vikings and Pats and Rams coming up.
- I still don't like our soft pass D at times. I think Richard can get way too conservative at times.
- I liked that Lewis continues to shine when he gets PT.
- I don't like that Richard still thinks Brown might be a better option than Lewis at this point. Frankly, as I said last night, I might even flip flop him and Awuzie and let Awuzie body TEs, etc in side and let Lewis take the speedier guys outside.
- I liked our front four's relentless motor last night.
- I don't like that we seem to stunt so much. Just from the naked eye, it just seems on passing downs we seem to get better pressure when we let Lawrence/Quinn/Bennett just beat their man as opposed to running stunts. It's just a gut feeling here, not backed by any evidence.
- I liked that we seem to be getting the 2018 Jaylon Smith back. He was all over the field last night.
- I don't like that we don't use Smith (and VanderEsch when healthy) as blitzers more. I thought there were times last night where we could have rattled Jones sooner than we did by bringing more blitzes but we didn't and for a time it seemed like Jones was settling in.
- I liked that Elliott looked more like the Elliott of old. I thought he looked more nimble on his feet last night with some really good cut backs.
- I didn't like all the penalties. Sure, some were suspect as one hold on Smith was awful, but we still make way too many dumb mistakes. It doesn't hurt us against a dreg like the Giants but this team won't beat the Rams or Pats or Vikings if they continually make dumb mistakes at critical moments.
- I liked that Prescott didn't have his best game but still was more than effective. He totally missed Bethea on that first throw and that happens. And he missed some other throws as well but still made some clutch throws - Cooper and Gallup TDs.
- I liked that Witten showed a little spryness last night.
- I don't like that he eats up snaps from Jarwin who shows that while not a great TE, he has the athleticism to challenge Ss, etc.
