I'm with you 100% HH. Actually I kind of like the way things are shaping up. Already signed a couple nice players in Kosier and Ayodele.

WR will be addressed with TO, a resigning of Key, or in the draft.

At OLB we'll either grab McGinest or draft Carpenter/Lawson/Wimberly. At FS I'm thinking either Beriault or the draft.

Defense will be top 5 next year and the offense will be improved.

Yes, if we could sign all those FAs sure would help, but let's come back to reality. 1) resigning Key nice but certainly not an upgrade; we still need WR in case of injury to Glenn/Keyshawn. 2) Doubt Cowboys pay McGinest the bucks to sign him; think he ends up with Cleveland if they don't sign him before he leaves. 3) Mare's on downward track; kicked in 70s last 2 yrs compared with 90s previously. Dolphins asked him take a cut; he refused, pro gets cut--you want take risk with this guy. As for Vinatieri, great signing but we shown no interest in him cause Jones wouldn't pay the money; that's why V visiting GB but now NE also trying pull money together to resign him. 4) Milloy's agent in negotiations with Atlanta. But Hope is still visiting around.

In your draft, you don't show us selecting a RT or FS. Assume that means you think Kosier can play whole year there; he's much better guard then tackle. If we do sign FS Marcus Coleman on Friday, there's your FS but he 9 year vet who got benched when playing for Texans last year cause of poor play, but he's certainly still an upgrade over Davis.

My point we haven't yet upgraded this team to compete with other NFL East foes who signing some good picks.
