watching the game again, there was a play during the first drive in the 3rd quarter. It was 3rd and 9 on our own 46 yard line. Romo evades the rush, moves forward in the pocket and unleases a bomb, but is off the mark to TO by a big margin. Looking at that play again, if he was accurate with that ball it would have been an easy TD.

That was one instance, any other you thought he could improve on?

I thought he couldn't throw deep passes...................

I'm not sure if we're thinking of the same play, but there were a couple times he threw at TO and he was obviously throwing it away. This sounds like one of those times.

Romo has a pretty strong arm, it's not like Favres' or Mike Vicks' but hey I won't complain, he can get it down the field...

To the point at hand, yeah he needs to work on accuracy on the deep ball because that definitely would have been a TD to T.O.

ROMO can throw a pretty deep ball.....I seen it numerous times in training camp.....wait and see ....it is coming ZONERS

He is the better looking triplet of his batfaced quarterback colleagues Garcia and Fiedler.

Most of the best QB's dont have the biggest arms.

Billy Joe-Tolliver had a huge arm, he amounted to nothing.
Ryan Leaf had a huge arm.

The really good ones have a strong arm, but importantly, they can make the throws they have to and they are accurate. Romo, by all accounts I have heard, and from what I have seen, can make all the throws

TO and Glenn were out of position on numerous long throws. They carried their routes out of bounds. Romo heaved it their way, but I blame this on TO and Glenn for being out of position. It was like they didn't know where the sideline was.

Romo needs to work on his time management. There were a couple of instances were he was on the borderline of getting a delay of game. In addition, he missed the chance at an extra play at the end of a quarter by not snapping the ball before the clock expired. Small things, but it could mean the difference between winning and losing in a tight ballgame (which we will surely have this season).

Why in the world would u rush a play to end the 3rd Qrt, this is not Madden, u let the time run out and call the play u want..

This is not Basketball where u need to get the play(ball) off at the end of each quarter, he took his time and had a great 4th quarter.....

Not on that one I don't think. I remember the play, 3rd quarter, long pass that could have been a TD.

Still, no QB is ever going to be accurate on each pass so I will give Tony a pass on that one.

God I hope your right. That's really the only part of his game I'm still not sure on.

Ron Mexico's arm scares no one, it's like a Chinese satellite launch.

Isn't borderliine delay of game good clock management? As long as it isn't "Delay of Game". By the end of the 3rd qtr, we were only down by 4, so it wasn't that big of a deal. I think it looked worse because the team looked like it hurried to the line to get the play off.

When he rushed forward he didn't account for the effect his body's momentum would have on the throw. Gotta credit the pass rush on that one for forcing Romo to move.
