I'm sick of holier-than-thou threads calling all sorts of people out for having their own views - by declaring that your own views are superior to everyone else's.

Well I disagree with BP and Romo comments.
Romo needs to be given a shot and we all know Bledsoe cannot take us deep into the playoffs, so we need to roll the dice soon!

you agree with the Romo comments? Did you even read them......he said if you want give up and try again next year, then start Romo.........:laugh2:

Wayne, It seems like you'd be satisfied with 10-6 and an early playoff exit. I wouldn't.

Bledsoe/Romo comes down to this. Suppose you had a choice between opening two doors. You know what you have when you open door #1 (the Bledsoe option), a man steps out and kicks you in the private parts (losing in the playoffs).

You're not sure what's behind door #2 (the Romo option). It may be another kick in the privates plus a few to the head (finishing 7-9 or so), but it may be be a man giving you a million dollars.

Do you take that risk?

I'm with Mr. Spadowski. We're the Dallas Cowboys. We compete for World Championships. Nothing else should be satisfactory, not now not ever. If we can't win it all, there is enjoyment on watching the team TRY to win it all, and fall short: that's what a true fan is. But: if you know there is a link that is going to break on the way to a World Championship, then it must be fixed. Bledsoe is done.

No offense intended, but this is a site and opportunity for people to express their opinions whether others like them or not, so I'm going to shoot straight from the hip and heart.

I'm totally sick of people comparing T.O.'s BS to Michael Irvin...I don't see anything the least bit similar...there's a difference between passion that is sometimes overdone or misdirected and a total jerk...I'm sure you know where I stand.

I'm sick of hearing fans who think BP is the god of modern football...regardless of how he's improved us, I'll be glad when he's gone...long gone...the sooner the better. Let him continue his rep of building teams that other coaches win with...he'll never win anything with this one.

I'm sick of hearing about Tony Romo...we've lost 2 games on the road against playoff teams in Jacksonville and Philly...for pete's sake, Philly used to pound us on the road almost every year even when we were a top team and they were a bottom feeder...No, Bledsoe is not a great QB...I seriously doubt if he could ever lead us through the playoffs where the game gets faster and the defenses better, but anyone who thinks this particular season would be better with a guy who has yet to throw a pass in an NFL game is insane...tell me you want to give up and prepare for next year, and I'll agree--start Romo, but not while we are in the playoff hunt.

I'm sick of fans who think the words from T.O.'s mouth are of more value that those from Aikman's...a guy who made his living and into the HOF reading defenses...I think he knows what he sees when he talks about who was supposed to cover whom in a secondary...at least most of the time.

I'm totally sick of homers who want to pretend Donovan McNabb is not an elite QB, that he's inaccurate and that he's just lucky.

I'm sick of hearing about our great defense, which still gives up big plays to lose close games...yesterday's game wasn't much different than last year's loss to Washington except that it didn't take place in the final 2 minutes and we gave up even more big plays...I don't care who's fault it was...I don't care how well the team played except for...yadda yadda yadda...they didn't get the freakin' job done, and they still don't get consistant pressure.

I'm really tired of hearing excuses from coaches...excuses for our offense, why we can't get the ball into the hands of playmakers, why we can't protect the QB or the ball...this from coaches who actually thought an empty backfield was a good idea for running a pass play against a Johnson coached defense...coaches who want to run the 3-4 but still don't want to attack consistantly or can't attack with creative schemes....this team sorely lacks creativity on both offense and defense.

While our problems are clearly pass protection by the OL, our immobile QB, and mistakes by our safeties, clearly we are nowhere near the bottom of the league at any of these positions...we apparently continue to play a system on both sides of the ball and we force our personnel to fit it, rather than tweaking the system to best use the talents of our playmakers and protect our weaknesses.

I'll beat some smart aleck to the punch with the knowledge that someone will say he is sick of me attacking the Cowboys and that I have no right to call myself a Cowboys fan...because I've been a totally loyal fan for longer than anyone born after 1967 has been alive, I won't try to defend myself. But I'm really sick of certain things...unfortunately, most of them are not going to change this season.

If Parcells, Zimmer, or T.O. don't screw this up, we'll still have a great shot at going 10-6 and making the playoffs, but we don't have the QB or the coaches and creativity to do much when we get there, imo...I hope I'm proven wrong...yesterday was only 1 game...but that's what they all are, and eventually the season shows whether you're going to string a bunch of wins together or whether you'll keep stumbling to get more than a game or two over .500.

I think that you are totally right on this one, Wayne. Especially about the 5 WR formation the Cowboys used Sunday. When it didn't work the first time, you don't try it AGAIN and expect a different result. As far as Parcells goes, I think that he has done more good than harm. However, he has lacked in areas, particularly when it comes to preparing this offense for the future.
