Win this game and that's 5-2 down the stretch. Why is that something to be embarassed about? Why is that something to lose confidence over? I've been told that they are just expressing their disappointment in a way that is different than you and I might.

But I really agree with you that we have the largest percentage of sunshine fans in league who cannot handle anything other than winning each game by 30+ points. They simply cannot stand adversity and cannot fathom that sometime other professional football players can outplay their Cowboy professional football players. Parity does not exist in here.

I agree with this assessment. The Romo injury pushed us back. In those games he missed I say we do no worse than 2-1 which puts us at 10-5 instead of 9-6. Like you said at 5-4 pretty everyone had given up except me. Think had we lost that Commanders game the season would be over at this point. Fans have to look at us as what we are. We are one win away from making the playoffs that's all they can control right now. No use looking back on what could have been.

I didn't think we would go 13-3 again. My top and bottom were 12-4 and 10-6 and the PO's and we have that chance, so ya, i'll take that chance. 9-7 and no PO's would be the beyond disappointing.

well most thought we had no chance in Pittsburgh, problem was we blew the game, not the loss in and of itself. re the Ravens should have won but again, many thought we had little chance

Many people at that time thought our season would come down to the final game in Philly. The problem is the way we lost those 2 games, particularly the Ravens game. There is no excuse whatsoever to give up 2 huge running plays like that at the end of the game. Its as if Phillips didn't do any coaching at all after the first one, because the same mistakes were made again. Also, our offense has regressed and Garrett shows no signs of knowing how to stop it. Yes, most would have taken 5-2, but the direction of the offense has been deeply troubling in addition to the repeated mental and coaching breakdowns.

And we probably won some games we could have lost so it all evens out in the end. Like I said stop worrying about what could have been. No one has any control over that now.

7 weeks ago, many would be happy with the current situation.

If 16 weeks ago, somebody told us that the Cowboys would have to win their final regular season game just to secure the lowest Wild Card playoff spot, a lot of folks would be disappointed.


As for me, I just want them to win a playoff game - to get that monkey off of their back.

Well "whining" is just a rude way to say complaining. If you dont think this is a legitimate time to complain then you must live in a perpetual state of having sunshine beam out of your butt. No one is "thrilled" right now but you and that kind of makes you the stupid one.

thank you. It has nothing to do with whether or not we get in. I hope we get in. But the bottom line is "the way we are playing" will make it hard for us to get in...and even harder to do something if we get in. How hard is it to NOT be the most penalied team in the NFL? How hard is it cover punts and kicks. How hard is to snap the ball when the QB calls for it. This stuff is comical. Why are you blocking on a punt we are not TRYING TO RETURN. How does that punt in Pitt hit that guy....we were not trying to return it...heck we were not even trying to field it. We were just going to let Pitt down it. This should scare EVERYONE....how unfocused this team is for 60 mins.
