Think we get Dez and Scandrick back this week?

Dez is a go I think. I don't think there's much of a worry of re injury and you know he wants to go at GB for that hi profile game.

I think you hold out scandrick. 2 more weeks should do wonders for his injuries and the play of Brown has allowed Dallas to let Scandrick to get as close as possible to 100%.

Our secondary has been playing well lately and they have also been effective switching back and forth between man and zone.

hard to say.. gun to my head, I lean no for these reasons:

1. Garrett and training staff are very conservative and risk averse in non-critical games
2. Bye week is 2 weeks away
3. A loss at Green Bay does not derail the season

Totally agree catch. I would sit both of them and bring them back after the bye
No reason to rush them back. Brown is playing well and the offense is not really centered around any receiver
Get them ready for the second half of the season because you never know when someone else could go down

I agree, lets hold him out just to see how good this rookie QB really is.., I kid I kid

I just mean if he had a hairline fracture why would you not take the opportunity for 3 more weeks to heal. It just seems obvious to me. 1 game is not that important.

The report on Dez was that he could not injure it more by playing so it was strictly pain management. Watching him yesterday on the sidelines he really looked like he missed being in the spotlight.

To give you the best chance of winning. Simple.

Very true that we are better with them but because of the bye I think this is something they have to take advantage of. getting an extra two weeks for these guys is a huge bonus. I can't imagine anyway they play.

I think the last time I saw Scandrick he was chasing Beckham in the opener. Return on investment since holdout - $0. I'm sure Scandrick won't be asking for any more money any time soon.

Anthony Brown is doing to Scandrick what Dak is doing to Romo, relegating them to the bench. That backseat is starting to get crowded. Dez better stop missing meetings and treatments and not pull any of his AWOL garbage any more or he may find himself finally being held accountable.

Players are stepping up and seizing opportunities. Gotta like that.

I want Dez in this game and want him to go off on the Packers. So much so I want Dez doing the "feed me" gesture as he eats up the Green Bay's DBs.

Or do you think we'll wait it out until after the bye?

This secondary has been so good that I can't wait to see it at full strength with Scandrick out there.

And this offense has been so good that I can't wait to see it at full strength with Dez out there.

Just looking for guesses on whether they play this weekend or not.

I hope so but it is nice to know this team can win without Dez in the lineup and did not just cave in. In my view it is big that this team knows they can win and play to a high level with or without Dez.

Dez is needed but OScan can sit another couple weeks. Don't care what the zone says, Dez commands respect from the other team and is one hell of a blocker.

Dez would be perfect for this week so GB doesn't get too comfy stacking 8. Scandrick needs to rest until after the bye. Need these guys for our playoff run.

I disagree that this isn't a critical game. It could eventually decide a playoff spot or at least a seeding. Green Bay has made the playoffs many years in a row and any NFC team that will be competing for one of the 6 slots should be considered a must win. I see 6 on the schedule that are in that category: Eagles (2), Washington, New York, Minnesota, and Green Bay.

Is it more critical than having then available for the next 4 afterwards?

Funny, I feel the same way. If that's not a testament to the power of Dak, I don't know what is. If Romo were in there I feel that I'd be watching the Dez injury report with nervous anxiety. With Dak I almost forget he's on the team other than the dump trucks full of cash exiting Jerry's suite every week.

A WR that demands double teams would be nice. The Bease could catch 10 balls and there would likely be one fewer safety creeping in to stop Zeke.
