Think Zack Martin will get any grief from his teammates?

Are you kidding me, who among those choir boys is going to utter a word to Martin?

Frederick the Beard...he will say...listen up rook, you can not even grow a beard yet so shut up and listen to me...insert long winded we blame you mantra here.

Lee was all over the place yesterday...on hyperdrive. But it looked like he slightly overran that play. He tried to recover and his knee failed him.
No way did Martin try to flatten him.
Just can't see him taking heat over it.

It clearly was not his fault and Lee's knee went out before contact but he isa rook.

if not Martin then some grocery cart in a crowded aisle pushed by an old lady who bumps into him.
Martin was just doing his job. Better find out earlier than later just how brittle Lee is.

You don't want him to accidentally hurt someone else on the team. Without pads, on the first day of OTAs, do you really want to plant a Teammate on their butt like a potato cake?

Although it wasn't or may not have been his fault, it was an aggressive block for the situation.

Bring your sticks and stones.

I hate it when NFL players are aggressive. I hope Martin gets labeled "an aggressive player."

Sure. I don't think any of them blame him because they know how the game's played, but I could easily see some of the veteran defenders razzing him over it.

His offensive linemates probably have other plans for him that he probably will like even less.

I doubt it from the players because players these days (at least on this team) aren't like that.

I bet he heard something from his coaches, though. Or at least I hope he did. But again, on this country club atmosphere team, maybe not.

Any chance you can start a petition to rid ourselves of aggressive NFL palyers?

I would start a petition but we half no aggressive players on defense. Now on offense we half Martin, so that is a start.
And, hey, instead of being smart-alecky, why don't you check with your sources and get me first dibs on some Hatch chiles next fall?

I would but the Hatch Chile guy will only ship to activists who can get behind a more none-violent form of football. It's going to be a long night for you my friend. You better get on it.

;-)

I'm 99.9% sure this was all on Sean Lee. He didn't allow the micro-tears in his muscles to heal. Guy works out too much and it's cost him over the years.

I'd like to believe they are all professionals and realize these things happen, but maybe that is asking 2 much?

Martin looked like he was a little over aggressive for what was essentially a tag tempo practice session. Dude engaged, extended, and buried Sean into the ground outside the numbers on a screen play in helmets. I don't know if he caused the initial injury, but I'm sure that didn't help.

Yep, passive-aggressive is defintely the way to win in this league. I'm just not sure why it hasn't worked yet for the Cowboys. Zing.
