Philly sits at 9-1, we are 7-3.

Remaining schedules:

Eagles - Packers, Titans, @Giants, @Bears, @Dallas, Saints, Giants

Cowboys - Giants, Colts, Texans, @Jags, Eagles, @Titans, @Commanders

Tiebreakers that would likely factor in (in order)

Head to head

Philly has the edge obviously but Dallas winning the 2nd game makes this moot

Divisional record

Teams are tied at 2-1. But again, if Dallas wins out in the division, the Eagles loss against the Commanders looms large.

Record Similar Opponents

Common opponents are Bears, Titans, Packers, Colts, Texans, Jags, Vikings, Lions.

Right now, Philly has the edge as they are 5-0 (Colts, Texans, Jags, Vikings, Lions) thus far to the Cowboys 3-1 (Bears, Lions, Vikings, loss to Packers).

Long story short, as long as Dallas wins out in the division and finishes tied overall record wise with the Eagles, they would win the division. If Dallas loses a non-Eagles divisional game, it gets a bit tougher going to similar opponents. After that it goes to conference record and that Tampa loss could loom large for us.

Well done. Thank you.

I have a hard time seeing us wining the division unless the Eagles crap the bed.

Good news with a few more wins we should lock up a playoff spot regardless.

It's not that crazy. If you look at our schedule, those are all winnable games. Philly could easily lose one other game themselves based on their recent play.

To me, it's not an issue of Philly dropping a bunch of games here, I think the bigger issue is I find it unlikely we can win out despite us likely being faves in all remaining games (other than maybe @Tennessee). We have no margin for error. That Packers collapse could be a death blow.

Don't overlook that other divisional rival.
Since starting the 2022 season 1-4... they have gone 5-1 since mid-October.
Currently 6-5 = a game and half behind DAL this evening.
Host the Falcons Sunday; then play consecutive games against the Giants - away & home - separated by a bye week.
Play an Xmas Eve late afternoon game @ 49ers, followed by a New Years Day game hosting the Browns before the season finale v. Cowboys at FedExField.
Dallas needs to TCB 2mrw and throughout December.

I just don’t see us being perfect down the stretch and we could easily lose 1 we’re not supposed to.

The teams on the Eagle's schedule I am more inclined to think will beat the Birds are also teams Dallas has lost to this season, or face in the coming weeks.

I think Rodgers could beat the Shegulls. And the Titans could also. And while it is a long shot, does the Bears running game look like it has enough TNT to beat them as well?

Hope for crappy, cold weather in December in Chicago.

Need philly to lose 3 games. It's possible but might be too much to ask unless they are hit by the injury bug. On the flip side I do not know if the Cowboys can win out. I think maybe just 1 loss in there somewhere which is why i want philly to lose atleast 3 games.

I see us both at 13-4 and we win the division and 1 seed. I think Philly drops 3 games including the one verses us. They could easily lose a divisional game and one versus us. Just need one loss outside of the division which is totally possible. 15-2 is extremely difficult to do.

We would likely have to win out to win the division.

Guessing we miss winning the division and end up going to San Fran for round 1…

Start with taking care of business against the Giants first. Very hard to project wins with a parody league.

There’s a gravitational pull against Philly that will make this interesting. I’m pretty sure they’ll drop a game based on their current trajectory. They actually had a few close games early in the season (AZ) whereas we’ve faced a ton of adversity already. The law of averages will even out. All we have to do is handle business and NOT look ahead.

One thing I noticed is they all run the ball well. The Eagles kryptonite.

Colts really crapped the bed. That game was there’s to take.

If we can beat Philly on Christmas Eve I think we have a great shot. I would give us 1 loss to finish 13-4.

Eagles would then need 5 wins from 6 games. There next 2 games look tough. One defeat in these and the race is on!

If the Eagles lose to the Packers which is possible I truly believe we will catch them.
