Third Game, weak O-line. Isn't it time for Taco to show up?

Plus you got a stiff at QB. Taco show something tonight. No more patty cake.

First, Prescott has nothing to do with Taco's development.

No. It's not time. I realize there are rookie DEs making plays already but that isn't the norm. That's a bonus. Taco could contribute next to nothing this year and that's okay. It's not ideal but it's not something that should lead anyone to thinking he's a bust yet.

I mean, if you didn't like him from the get go and never believed he was going to be a good pro, fine. I'm talking about those that did like him or were indifferent. A lackluster rookie year shouldn't change your mind.

Seattles vaunted d just got dismantled but nobody talked about that. This d is still what I said it was and Taco is just fine. Be patient

I thought all along that tapper would be the odd man out all year and end up inactive.

After watching crawford last week he looked like he was hobbling around. I know they won't do this and broaddus has said he may start at end tonight for mayowa but if crawford struggles I wonder if he will sit a game here coming up.

or of course mayowa since they did it to him last year. I dont think they will sit taco.

Does anyone know how many plays Taco has been on the field?
I don’t know if it’s a matter of lack of production or lack of opportunity at this point.

I think that this game is a prime opportunity to get the monkey off his back.

side note, moore is back tonight? any word on him?

-edit-

lol I just read that their starting left tackle and left guard are out? yeah... now or never

Broaddus keeps saying Tyrone Crawford is completely healthy, if he takes most of the snaps at LDE and DLaw moves back to RDE it could be a significant improvement. I think Taco would take some snaps at LDE and 3T in some passing sets, but Moore, Tapper and Mayowa would be the more interesting ones to watch IMO.

Taco won't get more snaps that Moore will tonight. It sucks Taco was a first round pick but he probably won't show much this year.

I wonder if this is one of those games where Marinelli moves guys all over the place to keep the OC guessing. Moore can play both DE spots, plus some DT on passing downs. How they line up will be a fun part of the game to watch.

Well, Tapper was just listed as Inactive so I should edit my post!

For those jumping on Taco, see Demarcus Law. The same people were ready to run him out of town this offseason.

Great point. DLaw also had 9 tackles and zero sacks his rookie year, development takes time. If our DL stays reasonably healthy we have the time to let Taco develop.

David Irving returns after next week as well.

I will be shocked if he gets 3 sacks this season since I dunno if he will get on the field much. I might even go with Tapper over him...Taco needs to get stronger
