This 2012 Cowboys Team Could Be Really Special

Riding down the road I was thinking about the Cowboys team.

Talent wise one could make the case that this offense is/could be as good as any the Cowboys have had. At least position players.

Think about it. A lot has to be proven on the field, I know.

Passing game - Irvin, Harper, Novacek, etc. was good stuff. What we have now could be better.

Running game - Demarco Murray if healthy can be a beast. I know its way too early to even think about a comparison to Emmitt or TD, butt, he can be huge for us.

Romo - no dropoff here.

OL - this is the HUGE ?mark. If they play well, and the rest of the offense executes this can be a really good team.

IF is the big thing I know. If this offense executes and plays up to its potential this could be a great year to be a Cowboys fan.

Position players, talent wise we are as good as we have ever been. It all comes down to execution.

I see a really good year for us!

It could be a special year, but I'm not going fly that kite for a while yet.

If this team somehow lost to an up & coming Seattle team, a whole lotta tears would be shed around here.

I agree with most of what you said BUT we have all been here before.Its DECEMBER that has been this Cowboys team problem.

I am very hopeful but I am also mindful that 16 others teams will be in the same position (1-0) as us on Tuesday morning.

I love what I saw on the field on Wed -- the talent level, intensity, and coaching all look much improved. The key is be playing like this in late December.
