This 35 point loss was Belichick's largest lost ever

There's an entire generation of Patriots fans that think the Super Bowl was made just for them.

They have absolutely no idea what to do with themselves right now. They just can't comprehend being on the other side and personally I think it's hilarious.
Patriot fans in 25 years will sound like the Cowboys fans of today.

I figure that’s why he’s still coaching at age 71 is to break the all time HC winning record. He really has nothing else to play for.

Currently only Halas with 318 and Shula with 328 are ahead of him.

But with this type of teams he’s had it’s going to take longer than he thought.

Andy Reid is sitting on 249 with a great QB and team at age 65 who is only active HC who is a threat. If Chiefs were to average 10-12 wins a year for 7-10 more years he could surpass all.

Bill needs to win closer to 8 games a year for 4 years to break it. They are both chasing history.

The 35 point deficit was Bills worst loss in his 29 year HC career.

You do realize that half this board still feels that way about the Cowboys?

What a mess. Mac Jones had a promising first year but seems to have regressed. I remember how long it took our team to find a good starting QB after Aikman. Good luck in your Brady replacement search because probably need to start over again. Not just QB, Pats are missing same GM dynamics they used to have with talent in several positions or crafty moves for veterans. Always helps make those moves easier though when your QB is the GOAT. Pats fading back to that mediocre franchise they used to be known for and I doubt Belichick has much NFL Life left.

Mac Jones
Bailey Zappe
Will Grier

The search has begun. What will last longer? Bill trying to figure it out or the search for the next franchise QB?

..he's not going Anywhere. He will leave as all time winningest coach. Only has 30 more wins to go.
He's 71 and his teams are in hard decline. He'll never win another 30. I don't think he wins another 10, as the Pats are gonna move on soon.

He's a great culture setter and top-3 defensive coach of all time. But he's always been clueless about offense, and now he's old.

We knew Mac Jones would get victimized by DQ's defense if he started trailing, but I was shocked at how flat Bill's defense was. Dak just picked them apart.

I believe Belicheck’s worst loss as the Patriots HC was the 2005 season opener to the Bills when they got blanked 35-0.

The Patriots likely will be picking in the top 3 if this keeps up. The Pats with Caleb Williams might be the start of something new.

Went over to a couple of Patriots fan sites; many are through with Belicek being the defacto GM - especially when it comes to drafting.
Having his son on the staff, along with strange decisions (longtime defensive coach then DC Matt Patricia being brought back last season as a "Senior Football Advisor" and OLine coach) -- the seed has been planted that perhaps Belichick time has come to step away.

Bill (with T Brady) had a nice run. Time now for a new generation to take the stage. We know that dynasties can't and won't last forever.
