The return of the offense I would call it.

Romo + Felix + Austin + Dez + Offensive Line (week 6) + Robinson

You saw what the offense was able to do with a beat up Romo/Felix/Dez and Miles missing... just wait til all these pieces are back together.

Not to mention the return of Hatcher and Orlando Scandrick over Alan Ball. And the week after we can get a glimpse of Bruce Carter 8-0

In the words of Bart Scott - Can't wait!

I agree and even guys who are playing like jenkins has been held together by tape. This time off should be a big help to getting him back to 100%

Yup, no chance of going 2-3 at the end of this week.

Sure about that, afterall, they have been very creative in finding ways to lose games as of late.

Yep. Hopefully Sensabaugh's concussion isn't too bad.

It'll be interesting to see our team with both starting WRs, the addition of Robinson, an improving O-Line and completely healthy defense.

Anyone who says we have no shot at @ NE is crazy. We can play with any team home or away. The key will be if/how we limit mistakes/turnovers.

NE is pretty banged up too and they have to face the Jets this Sunday before facing us.

We are just another game on the schedule to NE and they will be playing their huge game the week before. I think we get em!

but we need a break Mentally too...can you imagine having to play this week after that loss? Screw that.....this time off is a GOOD thing. We can go 8-4 the next 12 and finish 10-6. That's a real solid season for this team: win a wild card game and see after that.

I'm more confident about our chances vs the Pats "after" the Detroit game than before it. We dominated a very good Lion team for the majority of the game. The bye week could not have come at a better time. I like our chances going forward with the upcoming schedule (sans Pats) and with some serious healing time. The NFC East is up for grabs, and I still believe it is very winnable.

Not having to rely on Ogletree to do anything is good too

Agreed, I believe we will beat the Pats. Their defense is brutal and now they lost Mayo. However, if the Jets beat the Pats then I reserve the right to change my mind as NE never, ever loses two in a row.

If our Cowboys can get both Miles Austin and Dez Bryant healthy and simultaneously on the field with Jason Witten - our passing offense will be dang near unstoppable.

And if Red ***** can figure out that Dallas needs to spread out the opposing defense in the red zone, instead of deluding himself that he has any semblance of a power running game, the Cowboys should be one of the NFL's toughest outs.

I already have every confidence that the defense will hold up their end. I'm really enjoying the addition of Rob Ryan as DC.

GO COWBOYS!

Having to stew for 2 weeks over the biggest collapse in franchise history is the worst way to enter a bye. I don't see an early bye helping much especially after the mega meltdown we saw Sunday.

I think the bye will give us the most important thing we need right now - health. Also, Red will have two weeks to work on well needed situational adjustments: Red zone & short yardage efficiency, the running game in general, ball control, game control, and maybe even post INT tackling (it might come in handy in the next 12 games). Rob will have his hands full as well.

Following the bye, we will either wilt from the Lions loss and subsequent media humiliation or come out swinging like a team on a mission. These two weeks of pent up emotion will definitely set the stage for the rest of the year and give us an insight into the true mental makeup of this team. Intestinal fortitude vs intestinal flu. We might as well find out sooner rather than later.

...Garrett is deluded. In fact it wouldn't surprise me that he is frustrated as hell.

He can't go spread offence in the redzone everytime. He needs opponents to respect the run and he needs to teach these Cowboys the value of a run game that can get the tough yards for a first or a touchdown.

It's the players who are not executing short yardage to get Garrett play calling options.

Let's hope our o-line and backs can develop together to make a run for the rest of the season.

Hopefully our pass rush is on. When Brady starts getting hit, he gets real flustered. That O-line protects his so well.
