I totally disagree - it's fooling the causal fan big time. The reason being is they just catch the names and highlights - the media is pumping up names like deion and Witten.

I have a father of another kid on my sons baseball team and he was telling me last night it's going to be Jason Witten or deion...he didn't even know Kellen Moore or salah were the first announced interviews.


Make no mistake - WE (as in the diehard informed fans) are not fooled , but the vast majority of fans are bc of the way the media and Jerry are setting this one up

OP is 1000% x ec2 correct. Moore is perfect docile yes man for Jerry. Prime intimidates Jerry. Zimmer too old and too wash. No way Jerry hires one of those outside candidates. The real oddity is forcing Wiitten as a coach in waiting on young Kellen Moore.

The good news this will run 4-5 years Fan revolt will skyrocket. And this likely is the last coach Jerry will ever hire.

The fans haven’t revolted yet, and there damn sure has been cause to…hate to say it, but we just aren’t as passionate as in other city’s…all talk, but no action….plus, a very large portion of our fan base is dumb as hell.

Who allows them to keep the Dallas Cowboys running business as usual? Who is going to keep Dak comfortable? Who has no coaching network and allows Jerry to handpick the coaches he can underpay? Who won't make a big stink when we do nothing in free agency? Who is the most inexpensive option? And so on and so on.

Kellen is what you call a 'puppet'. And that's the ideal coach for Jerry and Stephen. We'll be back at this in two years.
