Is capable. But we have now officially lost our Mojo.

That... (the ballgame)... was nowhere near playoff caliber. And we WERE playing head up for a good portion of the game. I don't want to hear any excuses.

Wade might be coaching for his job in the first week of the playoffs. Something stinks in Dallas, and it's the Cowboys right now.

Dude, this game was pretty much over after the Bears beat GB and the talk at Valley Ranch was on how long the starters should or shouldn't play.

Once that mentality sets in, you can't undo it. The game meant a LOT LOT LOT more to the Commanders than it meant to us.

Eh, I have a problem with that theory. Once the players hit the field, players want to play. Ware played great, Tank , Hatcher was also good today. The D-Line was ok overall.

Our problem areas are still problems. Our offense is a complete shadow of itself from even a month ago. We might be without T.O. in our first playoff contest and it might be against these same Skins. Where is the evidence we can play solid football in the last month???

The defense played hard, nevertheless.

Honestly, do you think the Commanders score 27 points with Newman in there?

Reeves was picked on all night. That's to be expected.

As for the offense, as I said in another thread, we left a lot of points on the field. AT LEAST 14 easy points. Chip shot FG, drop in the endzone by Austin, and a drop in the 3rd quarter by Austin.

ALL these things really change the complexion of the game!

This game was not going to be won from the get-go because Washington needed to win and we didn't and we're not that much better than they are.

My biggest concerns are the following, which have been exhibited for the past 3-4 weeks:

1) Receivers not getting constant separation. Especially on the <10 yard passes, it looks like the defense is able to read Romo and make the anticipated move toward the ball and knock the ball away or disrupt the receiver. Is he looking down his receivers that badly?

2) Poor tackling. We are tackling like little girls out there, especially on special teams and in our LB/Safety/CB positions. This will be further exposed in the post-season.

3) Romo missing receivers. I thought that a one game hiccup was completely acceptable and I realize he's broken all sorts of records, but his recent games have me concerned. Early in the game, he should've scrambled for the first near the goal line, but instead tried to force one to Witten. He needs to run occasionally to keep that aspect of the game in the defenders' minds.

4) Garrett's playcalling. Looks like he either believes we can't run the ball or that he'd rather throw all day. Today should've been a ball control game where we attempt to establish the run, yet we come out with JJ starting and doing nothing and then Romo slinging a wet ball around. He needs to figure out some things.

maybe they score more with him in...no pressure up front and any secondary will have a long day...give them the 14 points and they STILL don't win...Washington left plays on the field also...Dallas was awful on third down and in the red-zone...no matter how good your defense plays you won't get it done with that kind of performance on offense...
