This DE Class is LOADED

Agree 100%…even if we resign Randy I wouldn’t be opposed to drafting DE if it’s clear cut BPA.

You can NEVER have enough pass rushers.

Who you like that you think we have a chance at?

I like Jermaine Johnson at the backend of R1. I also Michigan's David Ojabo but he may be just out of reach. Trevon Walker would also be a quality get.

You reading my mind? JJ is a monster…I read he ran 4.5s which is a joke at his size. He gives me Jaelan Phillips vibes. Also love Ojabo as a speed rusher. Happy with either at 24 or they test well.

Walker is risk reward IMO. Apparently he’s a freak athlete but the lack of production scares me. I wouldn’t take him round 1.

What you think of the Greek freak Karlaftis?

lotta DEs i like up and down the board.
beyond the 1st 2 RDs this is a good lookin' group.
lotta size with this class as well.

Not overly enamored with him. I think he's been overhyped in a lot of mocks, but will be one of these guys that probably goes in the 20s. Reminds me a bit of Zach Allen or AJ Espaneza. That said, at #24 if the board has been picked clean, he wouldn't be the worst pick.

I think he’s similar to those guys in being a power rusher but think he’ll test way better…anxious to see his combine.

Good topic @cnuball21.
I think #24 is a good spot to get a edge rusher. My rankings are:

1) Arnold Ebiketie (Penn St) - 6'5" 255..speed rusher. Strength is his speed rush, but he has moves and can turn speed to power..very productive. Randy Gregory replacement.

2) Cameron Thomas (SDSU)- 6'5" 270..Strong DE who can kick inside as 3T on passing downs..high motor and production.

3) Travon Walker (UGA) - 6'5" 275..power player. The power is this man's hand will make sure no bullying will go on. DE/DT great motor.

I haven't watched all these guys but some other that could push for #24 imo:
Jermaine Johnson
Kingsley Enagbare

Thing is a few more guys could rise during the process, this is who I like today.

Why not round 1? If a stud falls in all in for DE in round 1.
After Ojabo I think almost all the other guys are late 1st second round guys. I do like Johnson from Florida State he could certainly be in play. But I think we have a better chance drafting a stud OL or WR in round 1. We’ll see.

I’m all for letting Gregory walk. I think with the exception of Walker and Johnson the rest of these guys will be available in round 2.

Scouts love Walker. Not great production but athletic and powerful. Can move inside on passing downs. He can play either end position and is a heck of a run defender. His best football is ahead of him.
Classic 5T - he’d be a GREAT piece for a DC that wants to be multiple.

A few of my early favorites are Ojabo, Johnson, Cam Thomas and Karlaftis.

We’re picking 24 everything available is likely going to be a late first type player.

This WR class is very average. Now that Williams got hurt I’m not sure I’d use a 1st on any of the WRs.

If it were me, I am going to try to shore up the middle of the offensive line and improve the overall power along the defensive front.

Kenyon Green, Walker or Lindebaum in round 1.
Mathis, Salyer or Johnson in round 2.

Ok Cameron Thomas is like a day to pick at best.
You can get Ebikete on the 2nd day

Walker is going forward will be a 1st rounder.

Johnson is a 1st rounder buy where
Enagbare is borderline at best.

If Cam Thomas tests well he's going to go a lot higher than you think.

I think Thomas could sneak into the end of the 1st round. Escually if his workout #’s are impressive. But I think he’s a round 2 guy.

He just doesn't impress on tape.

He may be fast but he doesn't look strong

He has snaps winning inside as a DT and he’s massive. I don’t think strength is going to show up on the weakness side of his scouting report.

Yeah man, I didn't include Ojabo n Karlaftis cause I don't think they make it, but I enjoyed Johnson n Ojabo. Haven't watched Karlaftis cause of his high ranking.
