This defense is discouraging

I realize the offense has a set of problems starting at the top but some recent draft capital spent on the OL and WR TE has some level of competitiveness at least under the right circumstances ( coaching )

You look at the D and to put it mildly when it needs a stop it can’t get one . You look up at the scoreboard early in the second your down double digits often .

No question the DL needs help next April . A possible hope from today maybe Carl Lawson can hang on be in camp in 2025 , don’t think Dallas will see DLaw again . And Kneeland should be back . Of course Parsons the Fred Dean prototype .

The DT to put it mildly is a mess. I don’t think OSA Is a second contract DT and Mazi let’s not even discuss .

One position I thought Dallas had some numbers was DB but goodness QB’s are completing passes at will at anyone not named Diggs . This DB spot and I know Bland is coming back seems like a smoldering fire that’s going to have to get addressed again .

Defensive line has been a problem for several years, obviously Jerry doesn't care and is willing to live with not stopping the run. The rest of the D is just to banged up.

Caelon Carson I don’t believe has broken up a pass this season . Amani O # 27 the PS pick up from the Lions looked decent until he went IR . Diggs gimpy Bland coming back from injury then Lewis . I don’t see how you avoid drafting a CB next April

Caelon Carson has been pretty meh. Often picked on and for good reason. I believe he may be a zone corner. Too slow for man. He ran a 4.52 in his pro day. Which means at the combine he probably would have ran a high 4.5 or low 4.6. He is probably better off moving to free safety or a zone scheme.

The D did enough today and last week to win the game. The offense is a freaking train wreck!

When you need a stop get the ball back the D can’t get off the field . Even when DLaw and Parsons were playing the Saints ( 2-6 ) the Ravens Lions SF pretty much did what they wanted .

The defense has a pretty legitimate excuse. The offense…not so much. Way more disappointed in the offense than the defense. Entire team minus special teams is bad.

They got off the field last week and gave it back to Dak and he couldn’t get a yard. We had multiple opportunities today and Lamb dropped the ball in the end zone and Turp couldn’t catch a ball right in his hands as well.

Mind you I think they are horrible, but the offense is the reason this team sucks

You aren’t going on deep playoff runs with a defense that can’t stop the run can’t cover receivers .

Is Liufau a victim of Zimmer selling out to stop the run against SF & Atl . He won’t get better watching from the sidelines .
