I realize the offense has a set of problems starting at the top but some recent draft capital spent on the OL and WR TE has some level of competitiveness at least under the right circumstances ( coaching )

You look at the D and to put it mildly when it needs a stop it can’t get one . You look up at the scoreboard early in the second your down double digits often .

No question the DL needs help next April . A possible hope from today maybe Carl Lawson can hang on be in camp in 2025 , don’t think Dallas will see DLaw again . And Kneeland should be back . Of course Parsons the Fred Dean prototype .

The DT to put it mildly is a mess. I don’t think OSA Is a second contract DT and Mazi let’s not even discuss .

One position I thought Dallas had some numbers was DB but goodness QB’s are completing passes at will at anyone not named Diggs . This DB spot and I know Bland is coming back seems like a smoldering fire that’s going to have to get addressed again .
Whole team is

Totally missed opportunity on the thread title, Ron.
It should read "This defense is offensive"...lol

Among other things, the tackling is atrocious.
Right out the gate they were missing tackles.

Caelon Carson I don’t believe has broken up a pass this season . Amani O # 27 the PS pick up from the Lions looked decent until he went IR . Diggs gimpy Bland coming back from injury then Lewis . I don’t see how you avoid drafting a CB next April
Jerry will be ecstatic if he gets to once more ignore the DT position to take CB's high!!!! Maybe another TE and an injured LB also!!!!!

Defense had injuries and did enough to win. Getting a turnover and the offense doing absolutely nothing with it is demoralizing.

Reminds me of the headline I saw in the NY Post ….” Headless body found in topless bar “

Robo QB should be a Headline writer .

We are playing without several starters. Literally, all pros. The best DE run stopper in the league. The guy who set the pick 6 record last year. Oh, yeah, and the guy who was #2 twice and #3 once in DPOY voting in his three years in the league.

Wake up to reality RonW. Injuries have screwed this season. Coaches are gonna get fired but they can only play the hands they are dealt.

If there is anything to complain about it's the offense. You have 2 of your best 3 players out on defense, although Tank hasn't been as good this year. They hit very hard on the defensive side, where as on offense they don't have that excuse. This doesn't mean that their defense is good.

AbeBeta did you watch the Saints the 2-6 Saints go nuclear bomb on DLaw & Parsons who both played the entire horrifying game . Oh and Derrick Henry held a track meet in Arlington again DLaw and Parsons were close encounter participants . Last but not least Dan Campbell and the Lions broke up the art gallery and ruined the party .

If you think DaRon Bland would have been able to prevent any of that then some fans are delusional on how bad this defense really is .

Hey Ron -- do you know about small samples? I apologize if that hits close to home.

“ small samples “. What the Saints Lions Ravens 49ers and even Atlanta did is not “ small samples . The only offense this dreadful defense has stopped is the Giants and Browns and Pittsburgh all mediocre to horrible offenses . Wake up , this defense is trash .

Take the gushing fan glasses off , it’s got you drinking the JonesTown punch .

The D did enough today and last week to win the game. The offense is a freaking train wreck!
The offense is a total disaster, but a few on here still refuse to give them any blame. They think "It's the defense, and only the defense, that is holding the team back", and anyone with common sense knows that isn't accurate.
