not really most of the defense are people we drafted and are here for at least another season.
You may be able to keep most of the players for one or two years but it's far more difficult to capture the moment. Each season, a team will have a different personality based on particular circumstances, player status such as injury, competition, the obstacles unique to that season, etc.

Success, teamwork, commitment to reaching a particular goal, these create an atmosphere that is almost infectious so long as the team is headed in the right direction. Circumstances such as injury, contract negotiation, off field issues, and personality conflicts are very common things that can threaten a unified and determined team. It's a complex recipe with zero guarantee that it can be repeated.

The great teams aren't the ones with opportunities, every team will get their opportunities. However, the great ones realize there is no guarantee of another opportunity so you have to treat every postseason like it is your last opportunity.

How many of us ever imagined that the great O-line we had with three All Pros would be so short lived. After all, their drafts weren't that far apart. Prior to Frederick's particular disease I thought it would last ten seasons. Frederick, Martin and Tyron Smith played together for five seasons.

The only thing stopping Williams from getting more snaps, is that Fowler is balling out just as hard.

Our DL is on a different level right now. All the starters can pass rush, and almost all of their backups can pass rush too. I think we put 20 QB hits on Daniel Jones, and we had something like 15 on Stafford today. Williams and all of those guys are bringing heat at a bodybag level.
