This defense needs at least 6-7 new starters!

We need to revamp this defense, we need to act like we see a distruction and do all we can to fix it. To fix it I don't mean getting a few players at the bottom of free agency or drafting project players and HOPING they'll do great things!


We need to take this time to evaluate every aspect of this defense. We need to find a DC not draw this out, and allow him to see this current roster and evaluate who he wants to bring with him to coach these players. He needs to find players that fit his scheme. I think Eberflus wanted players to adjust to his scheme.


This will be interesting to see how much effort is put into fixing this defense. If nothing changes, nothing changes! Please give your thoughts

Clowney is an UFA this year. I know he was doing nothing when the Cowboys added him this season. But he played well and showed he still can perform well. I know he has expressed interest in staying in Dallas. But if another team gives him more money and/or a multi-year deal he could go. If so, add another hole and another need to the D list of issues.

I don’t think fans understand how hard it will be to make our defense playoff caliber. We have one above average player on defense under contract that we should build around. Our second best defender is a career mercenary. I hear every one saying we are set at defensive tackle but to me we have 3 3 techs. Quinnen plays his best when he has a Leonard Williams type next to him. Paying $60 million for 3 three techs is not great roster management. It just shows how desperate the Stooges are to remain relevant. No thought out plan, just throw stuff at the wall and hope it sticks.
