Lions Fan Forum posted just after the Green Bay game--

This is typical of the tone over there. They're not exactly chomping at the bit--

"...I mean, if you expect anything other than a good ***-kicking next week in Dallas, I dunno what else to tell ya.

The Lions aren't good enough. They showed a hint of a fight for about 15 minutes of game time against the Packers, but that's simply not enough to go into another playoff team's building, and come out victorious in the playoffs. Then there's the 0-16 road playoff stuff hanging over our heads.

We're one and done, book it. We won 11 games, and aren't winning another. Is that enough? For some people, it is, I guess it's all we got."

one and done LIONS

The Lions will play Dallas tough. But Dallas should win by two touchdowns.

Detroit is not an efficient team in any regard. They're mistake prone, somewhat careless with the football, not a great road team and are prone to silly gaffes.

Calvin Johnson is still Megatron, but he's clearly hampered by his ailing injuries.

They also have a history of coming up short, particularly against good teams.

What does all this mean next weekend? Only that we have every reason to believe we can beat them, but still must be on top of our game to do so. Nothing is easy in the postseason.

Right now Golden Tate worries me more than Megatron; especially if Dallas chooses to double cover him. The key defensively is pressuring Stafford and making him throw ducks.

I've never liked the term "one and done." It's misleading. It makes you think the team wins one, loses one, as opposed to going 0-1.

The only thing I worry about from Golden Tate is who is going to knock him on his *** like he did to Lee.

Man. Those Lions fans are annoying, too. I just don't get why fans behave that way. How could it possibly be any fun watching your team set its first playoff game only to complain about it immediately? Dallas will be favored in this one, but it's anything but a foregone conclusion.

Agree, and seems our pass rush is picking up too for those sacks.

I wouldn't count my chickens before the eggs hatch. I have seen this movie way too many times...

Can someone remind me where we played Detroit the last 2 times we played them. We're they in Dallas or Detroit?

Dallas should win this game pretty easily. But I expect the Lions to rally late and make it a game

Good, I've been trying to find it on the web but I guess we have to wait for tonight's game for everything to be final.

BTW - we play on Sunday - don't know the time yet but I gotta believe it's the late game.

The Lions are going to stuff Murray at the line a few times early and expect the Cowboys to stop trying to run. But they won't.:star:

Dallas didn't have Demarco in last year's loss to Detroit. This one is going to be different.
