This game is lacking something

Is it me or this game a shell of past Eagles vs Cowboys games. Both team are a mess and the division stinks. We have injuries on both sides, people calling out Carson, you guys dealing with the contracts all year. It just feels like their are so much non football stuff going on and the football that we seen isn’t that good. I want the Eagles to win but it’s just hard to take a lot from this game because I really don’t feel either team is what we thought they were. Hopefully I will feel different by game time.

I was just curious what you guys thought. Are you guys getting amped for this game?

Ha. We have a redhead holding us back. And so do the Eagles. Garrett and Wentz were made for each other.
 
hard to be enthusiastic about anything when you've lost 3 straight in pitiful fashion after getting your hopes up once again

that being said I'll be cheering them on Sunday Night like the aforementioned never happened
 
I agree it is a big game, I just rather both teams coming in on a high as the class of the NFC in a prime time game.

Instead of that, we are heading in on a wimper. You guy losing to the jets and us getting blown out by the vike’s.
 
I think both teams are average. There a few more teams in the NFC that are better than these two teams.

With that said. IT's still Cowboys Vs Eagles

So , I am hoping to nasty smash mouth football game. Guess I will be getting out my VHS machine and putting a match up from the 90's.
 
It's still early in the season. Sunday nights game could very well spell out how the NFCE will fare out.

A loss for Dallas means 4 in a row and a bye week where the Eagles could be 5-3 before the next time Dallas steps onto the field.

Both teams have had good games and stinkers.

Fans on both sides are let down, as to how they felt the season would start out. Both sides thinking they would be playing better. And it doesn't have the same feel as last years game, not to me anyway. Though Dallas really need that win to boost their way to a 7-1 run.
Maybe this game will do the same, for either team. It is a big game as which team can take hold of the NFCE, though it could be short lived.

If Dallas wins, I won't get too hyped up, as I won't be fooled into thinking they got things corrected.

However come game time, I may get more amped up. But that will depend if we get some players back on the field. Too many injuries.
But in some good news from that, seems Lewis will start over Brown in the slot. At least he can make plays, and possibly get a pick.

The Cowboys are shell of themselves. As a matter of fact so is the NFL in general. This season has been abysmal. The officials are awful. They favor teams the nfl wants them to win...see Detroit @ Green Bay.

Welcome back CBrother, my wife is a philly fan and as well many of her family, it is pain full at times. To Them it's a HUGE game.

Not at all. Both teams still have high expectations. Both team’s backs are against the wall. Both teams looking to take over sole 1st place in the NFC East. Both teams playing on a national stage in front of all their peers and all of us fans. It’s a huge game lacking nothing but some starting players!!!

I think as the game gets closer, most will get into it but the hangover of this last loss is still with many here. You guys lost to the Vikes, a good team and when Cousins is on, as he was in that game, they're as tough an out as there is.

I thought the Eagles were the better team, primarily because of your lines, before the season and right now am not sure which is better but neither is in the top 4 NFC teams.

You had a better coach than Garrett in Reid but you fans grew tired of the same ole same ole and the posters here were at that place before the season started but the last 3 games and particularly this loss to the Jets won't go away for many. Even those that predicted that loss really didn't believe it would happen, they were just reacting to 2 losses in a row.

Like you, hope I will feel more like the old matchups with the Eagles but right now, it's just another NFL game and I haven't seen many that excited me this season.

And welcome to the Zone, always like the opposition showing up before the game.
 
in the grand scheme, whomever comes out of this division is going to get boat raced in the playoffs

Depends, we're only 6 in at this point and as we've seen, some teams can look different in January.

Did you know who Keyser Soze was only 40% of the way into "The Usual Suspects"? Or that Bruce Willis was dead in "The Sixth Sense"?

The Cowboys have been stepping on their own toes. The Eagles just not any good. Defensive line yeah okay. But we notify that with the quality of ours
