This game is the catalyst

Two weeks ago I came on and predicted a razor thin loss to the Chiefs, arguing it'd be a good thing for this team. I said we're a hungry team and losing a close game to a good team would ignite the last flame of passion to propel us into a great season and last week it seemingly worked, defeating the Rams in dominant fashion has analysts looking at us different yet it comes down to this cataclysmic game vs the Chargers. I'm not saying the season comes down to this game, it doesn't but what this game determines is if we move up to top 5 in power rankings and gain recognition as a great team or if we are seen as "the best of the lEast". I'm very excited for this game and I think we'll come out on top.

Nothing psychic about it. Analysts are unsure if we are actually a good team after we stomped the Rams, we if we do it to the Chargers they'll start praising us as such.

Seriously, I agree that we could make a big move up the power rankings (and in the public's eyes) with a convincing win today, but in the overall scheme of things, it is just one game (and an afc game at that), and Dallas could still go on to win the East and make noise in the playoffs, even with a loss today.

I predict that if we beat SD then we will have beaten 3 teams with 2 combined wins among them. Not sure how far that will shoot us up the power rankings. If we want respect, take care of business today and go out and beat Denver next weekend.

I have said in other threads that this is the lynchpin game...we played well on both sides last week for the first time...now we need to show consistency to show if we are truly as good as some of us believe...time will tell....
...I feel that with San Diego's injury woes, coupled with their inability to stop the run, that this game will result in a victory if we manage the ball and win the T/O battle
