Hey, I want the Cowboys to win as much (or more) than anyone here. But while this game is big, it's really only "BIG" because of the historical significance of having two 5-0 teams playing...

And of course, it's THE Dallas Cowboys and the best team of this decade playing.

In the end, it's an AFC/NFC match-up that probably won't have anything to do with getting in the playoffs and seedings. It's all about the HYPE, selling papers, getting website hits, etc., etc., etc.

If we win, WOW! If we lose, the sky sure as hell ain't falling. So screw ESPN and everyone else who will proclaim "I TOLD you so!" And on that note, let's don't get out the anoiting oil that the media will do if we win.

I've yet to understand why people give a crap where we sit on whomever's rankings and what some sportswriter/columnist/cable sports news network think/write/say!

See 'ya at the tailgate. :starspin

I feel the same way. This is the only team I won't mind losing too. This game doesn't determine anything at this point. But we HAVE to beat them in the rematch this year :laugh2:

I think what you guys mean is that division-wise, losing this game won't be a slap in the face but it is a big game. Everytime two contenders meet its a big game. You want the momentum.

One of the best things in a Cowboy victory...we would know that the Pats can't go undefeated!!!!

It would also in some small way legitimize what most "experts" believe the NFC to be.....The JV conference. I hope we win so we don't have to hear how much better the AFC is, and that we haven't beaten anybody.

What I hope for when your team comes down to play the Cowboys, is that your team takes it easy on the Cowboys. I want a good game, but I don't want my team to lose real bad or get all beat up. I hope the Patriots are nice to the Cowboys...they don't like hurting other players! So, I hope your team plays fair...it's going to be 60 minutes of football.

Check it out!

No it's not a big game. This is a non-conference game which will have least amount of impact, in terms of making the playoffs or winning the division championship. This is just another game of 16 game schedule. The important games are inter-conference games and divisional games.

It is for the Patriots...not the Cowboys.

Say what you want but the Pats represent the BEST and I want us to BEAT the BEST. No, it won't hurt our playoff chances but a W would definately build the confidence within the team and that confidence can be a HUGE factor on how we play throughout the rest of the season. A WIN on sunday would be HUGE for our team...

I agree it's big game BUT I consider the games versus Philly, Washington, & NYG bigger. I don't think the momentum at the 6th game of the season is as big as the momentum in our latter games will be. I'd rather finish strong than peak too early, i.e. Pats go undefeated until their ONLY loss in the SB v.s. the 'Boys, I could handle that.... :)

If the Cowboys win it would be great and give a right for everyone to slap the stupid ESPN guys for all of them picking the Pats.:espn: but if we lose we still will be #1 in the NFC!!!

Funny when Parcells said a few weeks ago that their next important game was Philly, he became a hater. In the grand scheme of things, Philly is more important.

This coming game between the Patriots vs. Cowboys is going to be as boring and sloppy as the women that Brady dates!

This game is going to be a scrimmage for Romo and the Cowboys. Check it out...

If we win it will be a HUGE game, if we lose it will mean nothing. As per usual.

Beating the Colts last year ended up meaning nothing.
So, by the hands of God, if that game were reversed and it did not affect your season at all, you'd be completely indifferent?
