Funny when Parcells said a few weeks ago that their next important game was Philly, he became a hater. In the grand scheme of things, Philly is more important.

This game doesn't have playoff implications but it is a great measuring stick.

People are making this into a measuring stick game for the Cowboys. In the end a week 6 game doesn't mean anything in Feb. in Arizona.

I'd say that's the case for alot of folks on here.

This game doesn't have playoff implications but it is a great measuring stick.

It is, but it doesn't mean if the team loses big, that they're not legit.

I think folks are mad, because while all the analysts acknowledge that the 'boys are a good team, they consider the Pats better.

My opinion is that they are an established team with a recent history of consistent success. When I look at the two teams, I don't think they are appreciably better than the 'boys. Across the board, the individual position breakdown is fairly even. Brady makes the difference. He makes mediocre players better.

Sure, as far as playoff implications go, this doesn't mean anything more than the Bills game. But I want the Pats to lose almost as much as I want us to win. I'm sick of this New England team being called an all-time great and a 16-0 candidate after five freaking games.

So from that standpoint, it does mean something.

In the end, it's an AFC/NFC match-up that probably won't have anything to do with getting in the playoffs and seedings.

OTOH, if we win this game, we may not need to go to such tie-breaking procedures.
