I'm fighting the urge which tells me that this game is going to be a slugmatch, or a back and forth, low-scoring contest. I'm basing that on past matchups before we had the talent we have now. We have a better offense than they do because we have the better QB. I'll even say we have the better RB because I'd rather have JJ than Portis. And let's not even compare our WRs and OL to theirs because ours are again better.

That leaves defense where they're pretty strong, but so are we. In fact I'll take the matchup of our good offense against their good defense over their sub-par offernse vs our good defense. That will be the diffenrece in this game. And because their OL is inept, our DL will have a field day, and Demarcus Ware will have such a field-day it will become his offical "coming out party" where he begins his road to greatness. And that solid D play will lead to turnovers and field position in Dallas' favor for our offense to capitalize on.

In the end the game will look close for abuot 2 1/2 quarters and we will slowly pull away until it looks like sheer dominacne and a complete blowout (Dallas over Washington, of course) by the end of the game.

I don't know about the blowout part, but I agree on Ware's night tonight. I think Parcells and Zimmer will find a soft spot in the Skins protection and Ware will get plenty of good shots in on Brunell. He was close several times last week, and I think this week he closes the deal. Portis is way undersized to take him on in protection.

You can't even base what teams did last week in the NFL on the current week anymore, but I'll do it anyway. Chicago had someone in Washington's QB's face all game. You don't play that badly as a QB if you arent getting pressured. We better bring the heat, because Washington is bringing the heat on defense

I am working in a phila area and the local paper had a article about tonight's game. Tha article stated that some Commander players told Ware "to be ready for what's coming at him" :laugh1:

Monday Night would be a great stage for Ware to have a big game. Jones showed that last year after the big game aginst Seattle. The stars shine brightest in the national spotlight and if you want to make a name for yourself there is no better setting to do that.
