You don't have any backups starting for you. Gibbs is playing the best players he has at his disposal at every single position. He's doing what he can with the players he has.

Dallas will be resting starters. The best we have will be on the bench while the best you have will be fighting out on the field for your playoff lives.

Sitting on the sidelines will be Barber, Romo, Canty, Ratliff, Newman, Henry, Ware, Ellis, Gurode and a ton of other's who are better than the guys actually out there playing.

That is playing backups. Not having guys go out for the year and then having the replacement play. That is overcoming injuries... not resting starters.

Bottom line is that the Commanders will be playing everyone with everything they have in an effort to win while the Dallas starters will be sitting around on the sidelines talking about who they're going to play in the games that count.

what matters is the quality of the players missing. and dallas will be missing QUALITY players. every team has backups playing throughout the year(sans pats). your backup qb is also better than your starting qb. so that is an advantage.

In the last game we laid back and forced Campbell to make plays and he could not. I would have rather we be more agressive but that was the call. I think the D might be more agressive this time out.

What I find funny is that Collins is soo much better than your franchise QB. That ought to tell you how bad your coaching staff is. The skins may be more like 11-4 if not for Campbell and the coaches letting him continue to play. As for tomorrow, skins fans better hope they win with all the crap they have been talking. Personally, I think many of our backups are still better than what the skins are putting on the field these days so I still expect the Cowboys to compete and possibly win. All a skins win tomorrow does is give them a worse draft pick because they are going nowhere in the playoffs as the #6 seed. I'm also going to laugh when the go to Seattle, play Jason Campbell and lose big.
