This offense requires your big 6'4" 225lb rocket arm QB to stand strong in the pocket until the last second and make a strong accurate throw. And it also requires a solid running game. We do NOT have a solid running game and Romo is NOT that kind of QB. It should be no surprise that Romo has been at his best when he was younger and getting outside of the pocket all the time. Which is also why he has been good in the 2 min drill. The reason the marriage of Romo and Garrett has been allowed to exist this long is because the architect of this franchise does not know enough about football to understand what he is watching.
The architect of this franchise loads up on all the glamour positions...without understanding that your WRs, RBs, CBs, etc cannot do there job until AFTER the big uglies do their job. It does NOT work the other way around! And I know for MANY of you on this board...this is not a revelation.
