This is a bad team

Injuries aside, this is not a good team. Other than maybe six or seven players we need help, especially on defense. Worst of all is that the coaching is subpar as well. I think we are a few years and a coaching change, from being a decent team.

I know those that will say when Dak is back we'll be better. So what if the offense is better when the defense literally cannot stop any team from scoring 30+ points per game.

So frustrated that I have fallen for the Jerry hype. I actually thought this team might be decent but unfortunately they are just terrible.

You add 3-4 good players to this roster when it’s healthy and the division would be ours
Players like McGovern have never had a camp. this team like most every team could improve with some more good players

Yeah, they are, but also not far from being fixed. However, no more CB's and injured LB's high in the draft. Need surgury, not another bandaid CB.

Its a dumb team. We literally have the worst front office in pro sports going on 24 years. Our GM has the roster acumen of a casual NFL fan rather than the talent guru the position requires. Our offseason moves make no sense. They don't identify/ address weaknesses nor is there any discernible football philosophy. Nothing will change until the Jones boys get out of their own way.

A 6-4 team sounds like a playoff contender, not a Superbowl contender.

Would a healthy team help Zeke with his fumbles? Would a healthy team help our 3 WR's with their drops? Would a healthy team help the defense tackle better? Would a healthy team make us number one in the league against the run? Would a healthy team have us plus 13 in the turnover column? Would a healthy team still have Conner Williams startig at left guard?

We have no identity. So how can we draft players to fit our identity, when we don't have one? Would a healthy team give us an identity?

.............and that is the problem. The Cowboys are so talent thin at so many positions that everything has to go perfectly for the team to be good. But thats just not how life works in the NFL. No team goes through a season healthy. Go look at the mash unit the Eagles won a super with a few years ago.
