This is a game where you need the hammer. Pollard was getting it done dont get me wrong. However he wasn't tiring out the defense by any stretch of the imagination. Zeke would have had that GB defense scared to tackle in the 4th quarter. He is the closer. And he was sorely missed tonight. I know I am going to get lambasted because of his YPC but that has nothing to do with what I am saying here. Cold weather games like this a RB like Zeke hurts anyone trying to tackle him and come the 4th quarter they want nothing to do with it.

It was, we certainly missed him early on. I dont know if his physicality would've done it, but the run game started very slowly.

I didnt say he was....I am saying we needed him yesterday. For the reasons I said we did. Not having him there did contribute to the loss. I am sure you are putting all the blame on Dak so I am not going to bother.

That doesn't even make any sense. Go find one time I blamed Dak as reason for this or any loss. We didn't lose because we didn't have Zeke. Pretending so is silly and so is your erroneous assumption. The way Pollard and Davis were running the ball absolutely no reason not to eat up the clock the second half. Game failure was on KM.

Davis also had a nice 12+ run called back on a ticky tacky holding call

i'm calling Baloney and Zeke bias thread.
Zeke would have grinding dirty runs had a 3.8 yd avg, and less of a minimal chance of a big splash run.

Pollard ran for over 100+ yards on 22 carries, and a 5.2 yd avg. .. so how was the cold weather affecting and limiting his runs and effectiveness ?

I really believe that when Pollard lines up in the backfield, opposing defenses tend to get that much geared up and anxious to stop him in his tracks in the backfield,
Because they know if he gets in an opening crack or parting lane, and gains momentum and acceleration, ... he's gone !

per John Madden- It's two things Defenses fear the Most .... Speed ..and a running QB.
