It seems that on Friday night, the big local hang out, "Jim and Elaine's Sno Cone Palace" had a mechanical malfunction and all the machines went bonkers covering 3/4 of Olean with cherry flavored ice.

This happened a few years ago too, only that time the flavor in the machines was lemon.

There was a charity event organized "Lemon-Aid" but obviously they didn't fix the machines with the money donated ($1.26).

The problem this time is that they were still digging out from a heavy snow they had in August.
