Happy Friday. Monday is scaring me. Partly because I don't trust Dallas but also because I predicted the Jets loss for many of the same reasons. This is a classic trap game. Why?

1. Dallas has struggled off byes in the Garrett era.
2. Jason Garrett is still the Dallas HC.
3. The Giants come in healthy.
4. The Giants have nothing to lose.
5. Barkley, Barkley, Barkley.
6. This is a road game vs. a divisional foe.
7. The Giants defense will be better with Williams.
8. Off a big home win vs. Philly Dallas likes to pat themselves on the back.
9. 8-9 wins might win this division so the Giants see this as their Super Bowl.
10. Jason Garrett still coaches the Cowboys.

Anyone else more nervous then they should be for this game?

Number 10!!!!!

no its not its a division rival who we know has improved since the first game, we are 4-3 and lost to the Jets , and lastly only have a 1/2 game lead in the East now..

they wont be looking over anyone.. the Jets game , im betting that week of prep went to the Eagles Game plan and said we can just show up and win with no special game planning.. lol thats looking ahead.. they know the giants well and are now in desperation mode..they cant slip up much if they plan on winnig the division, theres no 2nd place wc in our division..its win it or you out.

If we don’t make a statement and knock the ever-loving snot outta NYG, this team will have to be very lucky to make the postseason, considering our future schedule.

IMO, we’ll kick NYG’s azz.

When it comes to the Cowboys, the word "trap" doesnt fit the bill.

Everyone knows the cowboys are capable of blowing a game at any day, any time, and anywhere.

First off all who comes up with this trap game c rap any damn way?? There is NO such thing as a trap game! The only way you get so called "trapped" is when you're NOT prepared to play like against the Jets! The Cowboys have had two weeks off and should be ready (I hope so anyway) to play. This would be a good week to hang 40 on the Giants.

Not worried at all. The boys still have a bitter taste in their mouths from the 3-game slide. But people will discredit a blowout because its the Giants. We will be fine.

No way. This reminds me of last year after the Titans' game. The team knows their back is up against the wall. They could have been 7-0, or realistically at least 5-2, but they blew two winnable games. I expect them to come out like they did during that 7-1 streak and make some noise.

Daniel Jones already has 13 turnovers and he missed the first two games. Their offensive line is better than last year but still bad. I actually don't think I have been as confident about a game this year as I am for this one. I think Bennett is going to have a coming out party, this is going to be a sack fest, Cowboys 31 Giants 6.

We might struggle on defense, but everyone, and I mean everyone has moved the ball on the Gents. You wanna get an offense right? Play the Gents

I don't see this game as a so called Trap game. It is a divisional game and with only a half game lead in the East this is far from a trap game.

let me add a few...
11. We often make things easy on young and marginal QBs
12. Tate is back
13. JG got his seat cooled off by the last big win so he can go back to sucking for a week or two

All of our games are trap games with Garret as head coach.

Barkley.....and our run defense is still suspect.

on this board, every game is a trap game...to me...the jets game was the trap game. an opponent with 0 wins. QB just coming back. looking ahead to Philly the division rival...the defensive game plan was simple, Donaldson even commented on it. the players weren't ready. missing 4 players from offense......no excuse, we should have won that game

this is a division game. they know what it means...its not a trap game.

As long as the defense shows up to play, we will beat NY handily.

If the defense doesn't show up, Jerry needs to move on from both Marinelli and Richard.
