This is an Important game if you want to win the Super bowl

Nope. No team has ever won the super bowl due to the first game of the season.

Best example: Bills 31 Pats 0

Pats win super bowl.

Every year the Dallas Cowboys have won the Super bowl they have swept the New York Giants.

This goes all the way back to 1971 when it was a 14-game season and the Cardinals we're in our division.

At that point division games made up over half of our schedule and we're very important they still are this game should not be taken lightly.

If we don't win this game there is absolutely no way we are winning or going to a Super bowl.
While I mostly agree with you, the Seahawks lost the opener to the Raiders last year. BUt, I feel the same. If we think we are and can be a SB team, you do not lose this game to the Giants.

Meh. They are all important. The Cowboys will win games we don't think they will. They will lose games we think they won't. By the end of the season you want to win enough to make it to the playoffs. Winning or losing tonight won't determine if they will make it to the playoffs or win the super bowl.
Can't miss the layups. You can go .500 on the rest.

Exactly we don't lose to the Giants and the raiders are not in the Seahawks division so the ramifications are not quite so bad.

Exactly you know the teams in your division and you gear up to play them and win.

Sweep your division and that six wins go 500 with the rest of the schedule and that is at least another five wins 11 wins usually gets you in the playoffs I would think.
Having control of your division by week home field good things
