I thought the Cowboys would be competitive. They were not. At no point were they in the game. It was a like a totally-mismatched early-season college contest.

While all that is disappointing, we may be seeing a quite amazing Niners team that will be remembered for a long time.

It doesn't appear to be our year. I've become quite used to that realization over 53 years of allegiance to this team.

Whatever happens this year, there's always next year. ;-)

The Chiefs always look vulnerable in the regular season. Patrick is THE dog in the playoffs. And that is all that counts. SF has the team talent though.

When you're definitively outcoached and outclassed everywhere through the team and organization, embarrassments will happen. Those who didn't want to believe this before the game should definitely understand it now.

The only way this team could beat the Niners would be everyone, including the coaching staff, performing above their normal performance with almost no mistakes, consistently, for 4 quarters. Can you imagine this Cowboys playing in a big game and not making mistakes (minimized penalties) for 4 quarters, while outcoaching & outplaying their opponent??? That's asking a lot.

Don't listen to the Talking Heads. The Eagles and the Niners are decidedly better than the Cowboys, ignore the stats.

But the Cowboys may be able to hang with AFC East, so the Bills game and the Dolphins could be intriguing.
