Actually, I think that the bye week makes those road games better.

Agreed, and we still play 8 games at home and 8 games away . Same as everyone else .

I remember when the Cowboys were going into San Francisco to play the NFC championship game, in 92, and the boys went into that hostile territory and kicked butt.

If you're a great team, you could care less about going into other places and kicking tail. I want us to play the best of the best and kick tail. That's how the steelers made it to the bowl. They went thru 4 great teams.

yea, dont' worry about it last year we got kinda frazzled late in the season on the road, but i attribute that to how many rookies we had playing serious minutes, with an extra year under this young teams belt i think that we will fare well on the road.

After you get over the initial how could they, actually I thought last year all the aways at the end of the year killed us against the NFC east, I like getting them early, besides the crappy weather won't be a factor, with a bye in the middle it will be ok, we get a great stretch run of home games....

part of what hurt us last year were there road games in Cali. That's a lot of traveling back and forth. Yes I know we stayed in Oxnard between the SF and Oakland games but it's not the same as being at home.

If Dallas is a playoff quality team now with the addition of TO,Vanderjagt a defense that should be improved just from an experiance stand point then road or home should not be a big issue. Playoff teams can win on the road and if you can't then chances are you were not good enough to make it any ways.

Personally, I like the early bye week. I am going to Dover, DE that weekend to watch the NASCAR race. Now I won't have to miss any games. Last year we had the SF game that weekend. I got back to the campground in time watch them make the final drive and interception. Thank God for NFL Sunday ticket on the road......

it is what it is...we knew who we were going to play and where all along...it sux to have 6 out of 9 on the road to begin, but it does mean we close with 5 of 7 at home
