Really? Did you see how he turned around the Giants defense this year? Whether he is better than Williams is arguable but saying he "****ing sucks" is quite a stretch.
Aside from one half of football in which Patrick Crayton lost his damn mind, the Cowboys beat the hell out of Spagnuolo's defenses. Williams, OTOH, always gave Dallas fits.

Please hire Spagnulo.

I don't like Dan Snyder, that's true. He has done nothing to change those sentiments these past several weeks either; however, I'm not upset at all that our new offensive coordinator is Jim Zorn

Hey, maybe he can teach Campbell how to throw left handed!!!

So, it doesn't bother you that Danny Boy is forcing assistants on his new head coach, whoever that may be?? Seems to me that you Skins fans were quite derisive of Jerry Jones when he hired Jason Garrett last offseason before hiring Wade Phillips, now you guys seem happy that the Mad Midget has hired an offensive coordinator, and a new/old defensive coordinator, before he's hired a new head coach...

Curiouser and curiouser...

This is just further proof that God hates the DC-Baltimore Metro area... not only did he curse them with Peter Angelos, he sent them the Mad Midget as well...

I guess he couldn't find enough locusts for a good plague... but I think the inhabitants of the Metro area would think seriously about trading both owners for a wave of boils... :D

If they weren't such a cheap group of bastidges over on the Orioles' newsgroup, I could have had Angelos killed a couple-three years back... but all they could come up with when I passed the hat was a little under 300 bucks, which would have only been enough to get Angelos' leg broken...

I was THIS close to rescuing my favorite baseball team...

Camden is still a nice place to spend a Saturday night or Sunday afternoon. As for those $5.25 "gourmet" burgers ...

Hey. I went to the barber shop too in Alexandria and all the Skins' fans said the same thing. They either said I'm through or I'm a free agent when it comes to fans now. All the Cowboy fans in the barber shop was laughing as they were saying this. I don't blame them at all.:laugh2:

Unless you want to end up with the Charlie Sheen "Veg-head" look in "Major League", I'd advise that you not wear your Cowboys gear, or show your Cowboys colors, at any barber shop in the Metro area... that is most assuredly one time you want to fly below the radar...

OTOH, if your car badly needs a paint job, and you can't afford it, all you need do is slap a couple-three Cowboys bumper stickers on it, and inside of 72 hours, you'll be able to get your insurance company to pay for all of it but the deductible... :D

Why does Cleveland hate Baltimore, Art Modell.

They hate him because he moved the team to B-more despite the Browns selling out games. Modell could have just sold the team to another owner and kept the Browns in Cleveland. Instead he moved the team and they'll forever hate him.

I think this signals that Steve Spagnuolo will be our next head coach. Anyone but Fassel......anyone but him.

I think it would signify Fassel more than anybody. Blache and Spagnulo run two different systems. The same could probably be said for any offensive minded coach with Zorn, except for Fassel.

My guess is that Snyder thinks the offense needs improvement and will be fine with Blache, thus Fassel as HC, Zorn as OC, and Blache as DC.

Nah. It doesn't get that bad. Besides, there are too many Cowboy fans here. I work with 33 people and about 17 of them are Cowboy fans and only 4 are Commander fans.:laugh2: But honestly, I don't think Commander fans care at all right now in the Metro area.

Good post.

To many Commanders/Orioles fans, this is Peter Angelos - Davey Johnson all over again. They've already abandoned the O-ree-o's....

No, I haven't... I guess I like being depressed, but I'll never quit on the Birds...

Sunday, for sure... but I went to one night game, and that's the last one I'll ever attend...

Camden Yards is in a VERY seedy area that seems to consist mostly of boarded up warehouses... I got quite nervous walkin' back to my car...

Never did have the burgers, if I go to an O's game I'm gonna stand in line to shake Boog's hand, and have some of his barbeque... he's autographed one of my caps twice now, and he said if he gets me a third time, the sandwich is on him...

I can't believe that area hasn't developed since they put those two beautiful stadiums in there...

All of that makes sense, but one thing doesn't-- if Fassel is the choice, why not go ahead and make it official, let him get started with the whole process of turning the Skins into his team??

I can see advantages to putting him on the job now, none at all to waiting until after the Super Bowl...

Well, our defense was our strength 3 out of the last 4 years, so keeping the bulk of our staff there is fine with me. Our offense needs an overhaul; I don't like it but it's true. I couldn't care less about what Jerry Jones does, so I guess the last part of your quote here doesn't apply to me.

Lets see, you have your way with the Giants defense (according to you) 10 quarters out of 12 this year, and they're in the Super Bowl. I'd gladly take that tradeoff. I'd say having the #7 defense in the league with the secondary that the Giants sported is pretty impressive.

TO doesn't have your popcorn. Go talk to Strahan and Pierce about that.

That area's not that bad, just a few Blocks East is the Inner harbor, however you don't want to go any West of the Stadiums.

Well Washington has one a playoff game in the last 12 years, something Dallas has yet to do!
The problem with that argument is that both teams have higher standards. Playoff wins don't mean that much to either team. It's the big trophy they call Lombardi that they want.

Yes.

Now up here in KC land, they would KILL for a playoff victory. Oh they would love to just make it to the super bowl - don't get me wrong. But just winning one playoff game would satisify them for YEARS. How pathetic is that?
