You're right.

Seeing as he's now gone Hollywood and lost his focus on the game Roy Williams will surely step up and be the #1 WR who has over 1200 yards receiving and 12+ TD's this season while Miles has about 30 catches.

NOT.

:laugh2:

Why couldn't you just end it with you're right??? Dude, you always try to bring Roy into the conversation. Bottom line, Roy has stunk during his Cowboys tenor so far & I hope he turns it around and is a playmaker for this team but I am talking about Miles here & you know I am right about what I have said when it comes to MILES. lets relax with the Roy stuff, I wish nothing but the best for him but am not saying wow Roy is going to take his job b/c of this stuff, but I just wish he wouldn't have gone Hollywood & get this "I think I'm the shiiii persona" b/c that's what I am getting from him now

I knew Miles was going to be one of those guys that REALLY enjoyed success when it came, and here it is. As long as he keeps producing, I don't really care what he does off the field.

i want those shoes.

I think they're off the shelf Vans, but I'm not any kind of expert on casual men's footware. I just wear my Shox and go on with life. If you send Miles an email on his site, maybe he can tell you what kind they are. ;)

You really think that's the reason we lost some big games? :laugh2:

I defy you to prove me wrong. You may argue coincidence that she happened to be there. You can argue that it wasn't his fault [and to an extent, you're right] but you can't argue that he could have spent that bye week practicing with his team but instead he spent it in Cabo.

The damage; however, was done.

He didn't do that crap this year and he got the monkey off his back.

She was there for a ton of games. The **** does it have to do with anything?

Specifically, which routes did she affect? Was her influence on 3rd down passing, or shotgun passing? Did it have to do with his scanning of the field? Did she cause a disconnect between him and the safety valve passes? You have something tangible or just "the damage, however, was done"?

Wade gave the entire team off for the week. There was no "insisting" to be in Cabo.

In 2008 both the NY Giants and Tennessee Titans practiced during the bye week. Both teams had the #1 seed. Both teams lost to the #6 seed. Was Cabo to blame? Was Jessica at either of those games?

Inquiring minds want to know since this sort of thing belongs in the emergency toilet paper tabloids directly behind the running conveyor belt at the supermarket.

For starters, Romo's escapade to Cabo took his head out of the game. Being there with Simpson did it even more so. Do you honestly think he was ready for that game after spending time with a blonde bombshell like her? I wouldn't be and you wouldn't be either. Whether it be collateral damage [broken bones, bruises, things of the like] or intangible damage [mindset] the team wasn't cohesive at all. It all started with him and ended with him. Everyone on that team knew it. Wade knew it. Romo later admitted that he should have done things differently. So, even he accepts responsibility for that.

Secondly, Wade giving that team the week off was a mistake. Sure, football is a team effort but if you let up when you had the ability to destroy anyone put in front of you, "vacation" is a word you expect any Super Bowl coach to not say during the bye week. It was a big mistake on his part and many from the fan base were calling for his head as a result.

Thirdly, as for the Giants and Titans, that was a year later and Simpson was nowhere to be found. We all know the Giants are overrated and suck more than a Hoover. As for the Titans, man they had a good team but I don't think they were ready for the playoffs. That's a digression.

Lastly, I'm glad that you think it's "emergency toilet paper tabloids" because you don't agree with it. It's your choice to agree with what I'm saying or not but understand this: The bottom line here is that a players newfangled success with this team and celebrity interaction with them leads to that player being highly scrutinized for his decisions. Miles Austin is in danger of being put underneath the microscope and how he responds to pressure is anybody's guess.

Romo and Austin have come into their own with Romo becoming the leader he should have been in '08 and Austin getting his chance and making the most of it. Distractions destroy teams and Kim Kardashian is a major distraction. As much as I loathe the Commanders, you can ask their front office about a "major distraction" in Albert Haynesworth. That team is already done for this season.

In the end, it's his choice but I think the cons outweigh the pros in this situation for Austin. He may fold under the pressure of being her boyfriend or he may thrive on it. Who knows? For right now, it's safe to say that she has the potential to be a major problem.

Those are my $.02.

Oh, and if you're going to try and flame me and make my post out to be a piece of sleaze, you'd be wise to show some intelligence and defend your position instead of just calling me out and using Simpson as your umbrella.
