The Cowboys are suffering from the same thing they had suffered from for the last 25+ years...a toxic organizational culture. The attitude is, "We are the Dallas Cowboys and we don't have to change."

I really believe that Jerry thinks that the Cowboys lore from yesteryear means you are going to keep winning. He builds a talented roster on one side of the ball and depletes others. He overvalues his players. He hogties his coaching staff. CHANGE is hard work, and I don't think Jerry has it in his belly to do so.

Agree. To make a comparison, I think the college SEC fans always make a point to say that their conference is the one that plays defense. Until a recent shift of last year's high octane Burrow offense and pre injury Tua's a year before his.

But the Big 12 is funny with all the 50 something to 40 something no defense games every year. Whoever's got the ball last type games.

Current NFL rules seem to favor all this type scoring as well.

It's like some kinda Big 12, fantasy and Arena Ball showcase.

Defense is OPTIONAL. Lol

This is end result of “we like our guys” - we have a team of overrated guys who we claim are really good, when in reality they are average to below average. Just ask yourself, what other team in the NFL pays Tyron Crawford or Demarcus Lawrence those contracts? It’s absurd. Yet ever year we have people claiming that this is the year the Cowboys are going to put it all together, please, you cannot win in the NFL if you are not consistently churning your roster and getting better. You give out a few contracts for guys who are difficult to replace I.e. generational talent guys.

People on this message board, social media and local dfw radio have been crying for years to open up the passing game, throw it every down, dont need a running game.

Dont need good defensive tackles or linebackers or safeties who can tackle...just cover because that is all anyone does is pass.

Well you all got your wish. It appears stephen jones listened to all of you people who wanted to turn the cowboys and the nfl into the horrendous brand of football the Big 12 and so many others play. Its garbage across the board.

The nfl is played on the line of scrimmage. You play physical.

This garbage style of football and roster has set the organization back a ton. The jones family will not try to fix this, they will double down on it.

I'm not going to blame the OL for a lot of these problems. The OL is a patchwork and it's a wonder Dak has time to throw the ball at all. Coaching is inexcusable on both sides. The missed tackles, horrible angles, not using proper tackling technique, turnovers, and horrible and I mean horrible play calling at times is unbelievable. Does anybody know what was up with that onside NOT kick yesterday? I know the defense was playing horrible, but to give Cleveland the ball at half field when over 3 minutes left was crazy as **** to me.

Yes, 51 points by a Peyton Manning led team (a few years ago) is one thing...but to get schooled by the Cleveland freaking Browns...just embarrassing.
