We have to think of this season as our Super Bowl season.
Jerra, bless his heart, has this team stocked with talent. There can be no denying that.​

Do you think Jerra is thinking getting into the second round of the playoffs?
Nay. Nay.
Jerra is thinking, and rightfully so, Super Bowl. Maybe not hoisting the Lombardini Trophy but at least playing that game.​

So, fellow fellows, what area do you see as perhaps impeding our march to the Super Bowl?​

I have listed three areas that could shortcircuit the game plan but vote your heart and your football wits.​

1. Our secondary
2. An inexperienced O line
3. Wade as leader​

The only 2 things that will prevent this team from playing in the SB next year is.........

1. The offensive line (see Minny playoff game)

2. Tony Romo getting injured

I can't believe no one is concerned with the secondary.

Mens, it really is our weakest link and I also can see the graying/slowing of Newman. We really have not prepared for life after Newman and the rest of the crew is not Super Bowl quality. Maybe Jenkins and Scandrick can be the new sheriffs in town. I hope.
Then after them, nuthin much.

This was the reason we didn't get a bye last season. Folk's misses at NYG, at GB, SD really hurt. Hopefully that won't be much of a problem this season.

Good off season question.

Obviously injuries are the first concern, nothing can derail a season faster.

The schedule is tough but if we win the division we are in no matter what.

Offensive line, legitimate concern.

Secondary also can be discussed.

Personally, my worry, no thats not fair.. my concern, is the coaching staff.

No way do i want to be a buzzkill, but i still have a sense that Phillips and Garrett are a little over their heads. I don't know i just can't shake it.

Maybe last year was the turning point, some huge late seasons wins before the Viking loss.

My hope is that Garrett, who should now be entering the mature and seasoned phase of his coaching career, takes a huge step this offseason and becomes a feared coordinator.

Wade, no question, is an excellent defensive coordinator, and i hope he can become the leader that teams need when they make those Super Bowl runs. The guy that inspires when needed and calms when that is required.

We have a very good team, and with the game at Cowboys Stadium this season, we, as Cowboy fans have an opportunity to go on one of those special rides in life when the team you love takes it a long long way.

I think Wade and Jason are going to have to really bring it this season, if they do, we will too.

I have no concerns about the starting O-Line and see no reason to be. They were not the problem against the Vikings. The noise and lack of preparation for it was. Which leads me to my top 3.

1. Injuries (We were very healthy last season, will lightning strike again?)

2. Wade Phillips (Can he keep the team disciplined and focused?)

3. Jason Garrett (Can he get everyone involved? He has yet to accomplish that task with less talent the last few seasons.)

Yup. The noise and clock management was the issue. Go rewatch it. The O-line had no clue when the ball was being snapped and the Vikings were jumping faster off the ball. On the Romo INT, Andre snapped the ball early because the playclock was close to zero, none of the lineman were ready. This happened over and over.
