Bomar's getting booted outta OU assured that.
OU was finally coming on as Bomar gained experience but its back to square 1 with little time to prepare.
UT is gonna struggle a bit with a young QB and few proven offensive playmakers.

Tech is returning a ton of defensive guys giving them a legit group in what is ordinarily a weak point of the team. They return the best WR corps in the Big 12 if not country. Tech has slowly but assuredly improved its national standing under Leach and this year they will have one of a very few chances in its history to reign supreme.

i wouldn't count out UT just yet.

In the system throwing passes? He's thrown 55 career passes, Hodges would do that in a half. You're making it sound like he's an experienced passer.

He's never had more than 7 pass attempts in a big 12 game, and that was against the great K-State defense. 4 pass attempts against the great aggie defense (last ranked pass defense last year). Then a big 4 pass attempts against Alabama, completing one.

So yes he has pass attempts, but against who?

btw UT will be using a QB that redshirted last year. Incase you havnt heard Colt McCoy is starting the season, and I fully expect him to finish the season.

Texas is better than Tech in every category except for WR, and possibly QB. I don't see how Tech has a chance of winning.
