This is the least upset I've ever been after a game..

We played them close and had the lead late in the game.. We shot ourselves in the foot with some stupid penalties, had a few bad calls go against us.. But that final score is very misleading.. That game was much, much closer.. We should get better as the season goes on.. Henry coming back, Newman getting fully healthy, Terry Glenn, and Tank Johnson make us a much better team.. especially Henry and Newman being healthy, this is a much different game.. We played the best team in the league on a short week and gave them a great game.. If we meet them in the Super Bowl, I truly think we can take them..

Normally I take losses like you are today. I have fun with the game, and if we lose, I just look forward to the next week. Even on awful losses like the Skins game last year. But I dunno, for some reason I'm just disgusted right now. Not at our players so much, but just because the Pats make me sick.

Unbelievably, I feel exactly the same way. I'm usually throwing stuff after a loss, after this one, I still feel calm. If they blow one against the Vikings next week, I will be throwing things.

The Pats were simply the better team today, and it wasn't all that close.

They're a MUCH more consistent team... they play well throughout the whole game (or most of it), we only play well in spurts.

But it's not about how you look in October, it's about how you look in December. Let's just keep winning games and hope we're a better team by then.

We were beaten by the best today, and there's no shame in that.

Honestly-the officiating wasn't bad at all-we were just outplayed.

I agree-I am PROUD of this team-it wasn't like we got our butts kicked by an NFCE rival at home. We really need to work on alot of things(i.e. penalties, needing to start quicker, etc). Otherwise, there's a long way to go, and we'll be getting guys back healthy soon.
