this IS the preseason, right?

I only ask because you would think we lost each game by 50 pts reading some threads on here.

It's not about wins ans loses in the preseason, it's about the overall play, and this offensive line has been horrible. Romo was flat out horrible, as was Kitna, except for the one drive. This offense is completely lost at times and just not playing well, making far too many mistakes for a first team offense which is primarily intact.. 11 penalties to go along with that crapy play..

The offensive line played quite well against the Chargers, Romo never got sacked and was only hit 1 time when Bigg missed his block on a stunt blitz. The problem was miscommunication with the receivers, not a porus o-line.

Not sure what game you were watching.

Don't care about results. Offense has looked good with the exception of last night. I'm still concerned about Red Zone execution. We need to be able to run the freakin ball in the redzone. Defense didn't look great last night, but forced turnovers which is good. I guess the dress rehearsal is this week, so well see.

take the homer glasess off!!!! Why do you think those throws were off, Romo was pressured all night throwing off his back foot, that's what he does when pressured. And when he had some time, where was he throwing too...The running game averaged 2.7 yards per rush and 2.7 yard per pass, Even JJT wrote an article this morning about the same poor offensive line played...So I guess you must of been watching a different game.

And I couldn't tell any difference between Romo and McGee last night, Romo was that bad

romo, and the entire offense, have looked bad so far. if it were regular season we'd all be upset because we might be 1-2

We show very little and dont game plan in the preseason. Vanilla football is what it is. The cowboys look at specific situations and get good looks at its young talent to see who is going to make the team. . Prossman

That's easy to fix. Put Barber in the game once we're inside the twenty.

Why the hell we have Felix in there all the time when The Barbarian is money in the redzone is beyond me.

No, because in the regular season the offense would have more than three posessions each game. Romo and our offense are notoriously slow starters. They always need time to adjust to the defense. I'm not worried.

well, let's hope that's the problem and they get going before week 1.

Whaaaaaa.......????? Barber is money in the red zone? If that's so, then he must be looking for a dropped quarter on the goal line, because my most vivid memory of last season is seeing him fail to get anywhere in short yardage goal line situations...

Stay thirsty my friends.

I think horrible is too strong. Leonard Davis has DEFINITELY had some questionable plays so far th is preseason so that is a concern to me. I think Free has generally looked pretty good. Holland is ok and Kosier when healthy is slightly better than ok most of the time (when he doesn't give up free shots in playoff games). Gurode is good enough I would say and Costa looks pretty able as a backup. I'm still a little concerned at RT, Columbo wasn't great early and the backups are a little rough around the edges, even if they are physically capable, when they are in a game situation and having everything thrown at them (Young and Brewster) I'm not 100% confident.

I don't think you should be all that worried about the penalties, some were pretty iffy, and it is the preseason. They're generally not a highly penalized team.
